He picked up the shrew, a water shew, and padded over smoothly, smoothly but slowly - with an odd sort of grace - to Nightpaw. Northernwaters smiled sheepishly at her, as he plopped it down in front of her. "Ever had fresh meat?" He asked her, and pushed it closer to her nose with his huge paw. "This is the best...The best I could find for the best." He added, heat flooded his ears, the best equivilant of a blush. He hunkered down next to her, and suddenly like the way she smelled. He purred without meaning to, shutting his eyes. It was dead of winter, but with her next to him, Northernwaters thought it was summer with how warm she was.

Nightpaw took a bite of the meat, it was sweet and she hurried to take more. She watched southerenwaters, his eyes closed he looked so peaseful. She purred along with him without even noticing that she was. Her green eyes fix on him unable to look away, and she did not care. She had stopped eating as she watched his crest fall and rise. She felt the warm from him and she moved a little bit closer to him.

"You're a growing girl. Eat. Please." He stood studdenly, "I uh...Have to take care of something." Northerwaters slumped away, not looking back. Low and behold, Southernwinds appereed, a devislish look on her twisted face.
"SO good to see you brother." She hissed, and wrapped her tail around his. He didn't look at her, and didn't look back around to Nightpaw. "We need to talk about a lot." Southernwaters glared over her shoulder at his apprentice who looked fairly content.

Nightpaw started to eat again as Northerenwater walked away. She watched him from the corner of her eye, his had said something to Southerenwinds before disapearing into the worries den. Nightpaw did not think of this as nothing that she needed to worry about, she could trust Northerenwaters, plus she would be able to talk with him tonight. She ate slowly waiting for Northerenwater to return.
