"Then... where shall we? Its not something I want everyone to know about." Brighttwilight was speaking under her breath, in a half-rushed pace. She was going to give everything of herself to him. Joy filled every fiber of her being. The love she had with him was far to much, sometimes it even hurt. She felt no envy, and saw no neglect in his eyes as he lied to her, she was blinded by her own lies. Only the tiniest bit of her heart wondered if she loved him, and when that part spoke out, things felt wrong. It was not comfortable like it had been in the begining. Thats why she shushed that part of her heart, ignoring it, never letting it ruin her peaceful moments. But it knew, her heart knew, that it was lying. Her brain did not, but her heart did. And so her brain shut up her heart. "Somewhere far away, where no one can hear us. Right?"

He wasn't really listening. Hopefully she couldn't see that. "Hmm? Oh--erm--where do you want to? I know that there's this abandoned barn somewhere not too far off. Kind of near the start of RogueClan territory..." He let his thoughts trail off, tapering and tapering into nothingness. The tunnel ahead was bleak, as bleak as the dark side of the moon. It was unfathomable to him of what would transpire. He was rather young; they both were. Shouldn't they have been focusing on their warrior duties?

She started to smile, and faltered. It was the look on his face. It seemed like he was somewhere else right now. Not here though. "Is there something you need to do first dear? It can always wait." She purred coyly. Anyone could see she was trying to get his attention. It shouldn't have been hard, but then again, where was his mind? His eyes were utterly blank just like the cloudless sky. Her curves extended themselves as she straightened up, making her look more womanly*. Maybe they would catch his eyes, and drag them back to reality.

Curves. Swaying, swinging contours of rolling hips, bones and all. He was wide-awake. It was barbaric to ogle her in such a way, especially when his mind was in another place entirely. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he purred in contentment. "You're so gorgeous, you know that?" Giving her a swift lick behind the ear, he studied his paws.
"I have to go get some rest first. Prepare." A low rumble escaped his throat, and he blushed in spite of himself. Tail intertwining with hers, he let himself go. For some reason, Dimmedelipson entered his mind.

DimmedEpsilon had gone to sleep in the warriors den, and was now dreaming peacefully of what life would be like, if it was just she and her sister. Nothing to cause resentment or restraint. Just how it was before, a happy flowy relationship.

Into the warriors den he emerged. Stunned as Dimmedepsilon entered his sights, his nostrils flared and he tried to steady himself. For some strange reason, he felt the urge to sniff her fur. Scrunching up his face at such a pervertedly perverse thought, he made sure that no one else was around before gently squatting down to take in a quick aroma. Eyes widening, he was surprised by how sweet her fragrance was--rosy and flowery, but tinged with... sadness. A deep longing. A yearning. Racing as fast as he could to his own nest, he closed his eyes and let his visions overwhelm him.

A presence in her dreams. Looming over her like a shadow. A conversation being told. About an old barn, and later tonight. Something twisted her stomach like thorns. What was that feeling? Oh right; Envy. The sleek shape of her sister stood out as light peeked around her, illuminating her youthful beauty, and it was only amplified by her happiness in her youth. Self pitty took hold. A second shape emerged, taking over her sister's sillouete, and putting them both into motion. Dimmedepsilon awakened with a huge shudder. She was gasping for air, her claws dug into the ground. Her nest was torn to pieces. Immediatly she knew it to be true. Her love was going to make love to another. Tonight.
DimmedEpsilon yawned widely, standing. She noticed him, Runningdeath, laying there. Was he pretending to sleep? It seemed so, but, his breath was too uneven to be asleep. Or was he having night terrors as well, of someone else making sweet ground breaking love to HIS lover? Her head span with dizziness.
She sighed and stepped quickly out of the den, before any urges to be with him pushed her limits. The less contact the better. Then, unsurprisingly, her sister, BrightTwilgiht, bounded up to her, a gleeful smile on her face. "So, you'll never guess what," BrightTwilight chirpped happily, "RunningDeath said yes! Tonight!!"
"Mmm." Dimmedepsilon nodded in agreement, knowing that her sisters' happiness would run over her ab-normally resopnsive additude. And it was obvious what she meant. Tonight; yes. And DimmedEpsilon made a plan. It would not happen between them tonight. It would happen between HER and RunnigDeath tonight. It was easy to pretend to be her sister; they even had the same voice. He would not know the difference if she smiled innocently, and made all the false, but right moves. And he would think it was BrightTwilight. But to make the plan full-proof, she had to make her sister busy, so that she dissapered well into the darkness of night. "Hey, BrightTwilight. Excuse me, but I have to talk to our Leader."
BrightTwilight looked at her, with a worried expression. She did not ask why, and only nodded. She went to the fresh kill pile, and picked out a squirel.

Runningdeath figured he deserved another moment of rest. Whimpering in his sleep, he hoped that BrightTwilight would leave. He was uncomfortable enough; he didn't want to break her heart anymore. What had he gotten himself into? He couldn't love her. He watched her figure, trying to force her to retreat with sheer willpower. Pleased to see her move, he shut his eyes until the sun wound down.
Waking up, he rose shakily to his paws and cleared his throat, and with it, his mind. He had to prepare. Tonight, he was to become a man.

When DimmedEpsilon bounded back up to her sister, BrightTwilight was eating. "You've got stuff to do sis. You've got hunting, and the evening patrol. Man, she booked you good! You've even got the next night patrol on the south side after that!" The fake surprise lit up her eyes, masking her face with a false allusion. The huntiing party was gathering, and they called to BrightTwilight. She rushed to her feet, and bolted across the clearing, and exited out the entrace. DimmedEpsilon smiled coyly. She culd smell her sisters dissapointment. Then she padded into the den.
"RunningDeath?" She asked, whispering in the most attractive way, "Dearling? Will you come with me?" She coiled her tail around his and opened her eyes a little wider, making them sparkle in the dimming light. Her dimming light.

Mousedung! he cussed. How had she...? Hadn't she just...? With a sigh, he yawned as melodramatically as possible and stretched his limbs, claws unintentionally retracting. Rising to his feet, he didn't say a word; he merely straightened his frame, muscles tensed slightly and let her have at his tail. Bringing his washing tongue over an errant strand of fur, he pulled back a bit as a foreign scent wafted up his nostrils. All of the sudden he wanted to vomit; it wasn't BrightTwilight. That meant... StarClan Above! He gagged on his tongue, choking on the rising bile in his throat. Deciding to play along, he swallowed the lump forming in his throat in disbelief. The length that she went to get to him. It seemed like such a waste--too bad he had to let her down. Or--a devious thought entered his mind--perhaps he could just allow things to progress. After all, it hadn't been his own idea, so it really wasn't his fault...
Nudging her backside gently, he waited for her to lead the way to oblivion, the gates to the Underworld paved in mashed bone powder and wrought with green envy bequeathing him for his soul--enticing him--to carry onward.

A real smile spread her lips wide. They walked for some time, wandering far away from where DimmedEpsilon knew her sister would not be. And she wouldn't come here, if she knew her twin well enough, to look for ether of them. It was an odd place for ether of them to be, espesially with one another. Once she was out of bounds, DimmedEpsilon let her thoughts slip from her sister, and to him. She had his tail, and her shoulder bumped lightly and cassually against his. Was this how BrightTwilight felt? So wonderful and normal? She breathed in his sent, how strong and sure.
She padded to a stop, eyes twinkling with glee. She was sure this was just as her sister pictured it, after all, this was the exact place where the two sillhouetes merged into one, no? Licking his cheek softly she purred in content. She didn't want to act anymore. So she didn't. "I love you." She whispered to him.

Eyes widening, he blinked back tears that for some strange reason were starting to form. He didn't want to pretend. Every part of his body--all muscles and sensory nerves--were screaming at him to turn around and leave her. Head back for the hills, back to his mate. Regardless of his feelings for her, he owed himself to...to... what was her name? Groaning inwardly, he realized how much he had sacrificed. Sacrificed for so-called love. Perhaps there was not true love in his world, but he could feign. Feign for BrightTwilight and feign for Dimmedepsilon. "I love you, too," he said without restraint. Then, they made love for the first time.

When it was over, her face and body was full of content. All that could be seen in her eyes was happiness. She knew there would be a price later, after all, nothing that seemed perfect was. Everything about her was loose and relaxed. She purred all the way back to the camp, except for when she started to speak to him.
"RunningDeath...Thank you." She said, whispereing in the dark forest. She didn't want anyone around to be able to hear their conversation. 'Thanks for lying," she thought. It made her glow with pride, even if he was lying. She had gotten him to lie to her, and with her. What a devious little she DimmedEpsilon was. They both slipped into the camp just before her sister was back.
BrightTwilight bound up to her sister. She was covered in a toms sent. She didn't take in the mind that it was her mate's sent, because her mind automatically jumped to the fact that her sister had a mate now. Good. She started to say something, just as DimmedEpsilon started to slink away. So BrightTwilight resorted to finding her mate. Where was RunningDeaht anyways?

At least she's happy, he kept telling himself. Sex had never been satisfying for him. Piercing through the outer envelope meant little to him. Now, the nuclear envelope, that was arousing. Slipping into another's mind and possessing their thoughts. With Dimmedepsilon, he honestly didn't know why he had done what he had done. They had little in common; she just seemed to be obsessed with him. Obsessed with you, or with anyone?, he couldn't help but ask. Never before had they conversed about the state of the economy or their personal lives or hunting patrols or what troubled them. Maybe that was it; she was merely cheap relief. Free relief. It sounded horrible to his own ears, which flicked in irritation at this epiphany, but her body was no sacred temple to him. No temple, no palace, no castle, no den, no comfort--just there. Available. He couldn't escape his tortured past, and this considered him, as he couldn't recall ever having had a tortured past. All was not right in paradise.
He crept through the clearing into the warriors den where he dozed off. It wasn't hard; exhaustion hit him almost immediately.

DimmedEpsilon watched with clearer eyes as he slunk away. He knew. It was obvious to him, and he hated himself for it. That's fine though. She knew almost everything about him, even as much as her sister. It wasn't ever hard to listen to him and BrightTwilight's talks about this and that, how easy it was to notice them, sitting in a corner, searching the depths of eachothers' souls for the answers they would find. It made her envious.
She did not love him. She knew in her soul somewhere that it was not him she loved, but the envy of their relationship that spurred her.
