So wrapped up in her own thoughts was Shatterglass that she did not even notice the collapse until a few moments after the fact. Shocked, nervous, she poked the cat gently in the side. "Scaldburn? Are you okay?"

They were leading him into the dome. Sedating him, a she-cat served as bait. In the center, Lostsoul screeched and squirmed, attempting to get free as one of the pincers lay dangerously close to her neck. One pinch and snap. Yowling in rage, he leapt forward with all his might. In a daze, he stumbled and fell into the hole that lay in the center. Where had she gone? Then he realized; what a fool!
Clambering for the top, he felt water sinking through. StarClan no! No! StarClan, save me! he thought. All at once, Scaldburn was swimming through, pushing to the top. To his horror, his body was thrust down.
Howling, he roared back to life. "They've arrived. They're here. They know where we sleep. They've arrived. They're here. They know where we sleep. They've arrived." His chant/rant continued, railing off at last as the sky clouded over. "Oh!"

ooc: This is the song that currently comes to mind.
"Herb Girls of Birkenau"
Experiment victims walk by on a hill With berries in aprons, I still see them. Still See black empty eyes staring, no hair, yet ahead There's no dignity there. They're not living not dead.
Swayback and Ripcord and parachute face Were pulled from the water and put in a place I've not been to, but what you'll find Is the kommandant hoarding the vegetable rinds.
It's not like they mattered. Who sucked out your spirit? Listen how we shout at them. They can't hear it.
It's not fair. And it seems impossible That it happened at all. That there were people who saw The Herb Girls of Birkenau.
The Herb Girls of Birkenau walk by on a hill. With berries in aprons, I still see them still.
It's not fair. And it seems impossible That it happened at all That there were people who saw the herb girls.
But what's fair? Anything is possible. But can you understand that there were people who saw the herb girls?
It's not fair. And it seems impossible That there were people there. There were people who saw the Herb Girls of Birkenau.

S: WeepPaw's pelt was still ragged, though, not as ragged as before. She had recently made quick friends with a male cat named Scaldburn. One of her first friends besides SilverPaw. Her lips up-turned a smile with the thought of Scaldburn. Weeppaw's thoughts wandered and she found that they had landed on the sudden turn of heat. Why was this? Was StarClan mad? She shook her head.
"Why?....Why?" She wondered out loud.

Fully awakening from his stupor, the tom-cat rose to his paws serenely, as if nothing had ever happened. Nodding in the she-cat's general direction, Scaldburn carried on towards Weeppaw. A shift in his demeanor forced him to adapt a new manner of speaking, as well.
"Hello, Weeppaw," he sighed sleepily. He wasn't certain how to "break the ice" in a situation as tense as this. The dome still lurked in the corners of his mind.

S: "Scaldburn? Oh hello." She mewed, golden eye flicking over him quickly. She smiled faintly. Why was he the only other cat in the camp now? "Have you been finding other cats? I havent been able too...." Not like she had been out of camp. But she had thuroughly gone through camp, and over turned every stone and pice of moss to find other signs of life.
It was quite easy for her to make conversation with him, probably because she had been wanting to take her mind off things. Wondering what others had been doing seemed like a good way of doing this.

Still no other cats had been spotted? Whatever misfortune had befallen all of SilverClan's missing cats, Scaldburn was certain that the dome was related somehow. "I found Shatterglass," he mewed weakly. Three cats out of an entire Clan remained. Some strong army they would make! Shatterglass had been wrong; they would never win a battle.
"I did have a...vision, I guess you could call it...and well, the dome outside of camp opened. These bizarre creatures clawed their way out; they had pincers, and they tried to take me away into the dome. They lured me in by creating an...illusion...of Lostsoul. I fell into a pit in the center of the dome into what felt like water and had to swim to the top. I nearly drowned, but I woke up in time." Eyes downcast, he eyed his paws as if they were the most fascinating objects in the universe at the moment.
