"Are you alright Littlekit?" Rosewhisper asked, glancing at Littlekit's somewhat worried face. As she asked, the branch they were on, slowly began to lower to the ground again.

Shaking his head, his irregular breathing became even again. His once jagged intakes of breath slowed down considerably. Heaving pulse returning to normal, he looked up and down. Feeling dizzy, he sat firmly on his haunches and rocked his tiny body to the beats of Symphoniapaw's ever-present music. "It's a little too much to handle toward the end," he replied, surprised that he could find his voice at all.

"Littlekit? Are you alright?" Blister rushed over, followed by Symphoniapaw. "SoftenedOak is just over in the medicene den, we can take you if you need us too." Worry filled every inch of her body. Tension crept over her, it wasn't easy to stop her reactions. Symphoniapaw watched her, incase the anxiety became too much.

Blinking, the kit's nearly-transparent eyes gazed up at the approaching figures. Ouch. He was growing weary of craning his neck and stiffening his muscles so that he could merely lock eyes with the larger, giant cats. "What? Yeah, I'm fine." He saw stars for the first few seconds but quickly grew back into his own body. It's what he got for being observant.

The tree branch lowered the two cats to the soft ground of the camp. Rosewhisper's beautiful green eyes filled with worry as she looked at the small kit. "I'm sorry," she murmured. "If I'd known bringing you up there would've made you feel nasceous (sp), I wouldn't have done it." She padded up to him, with Symphoniapaw's music tinkling quietly in the background, and licked his head and behind his ears. She hoped the familiar touch would calm him down a bit.

Something soothing? That seemed to fit this situation. Bells turned into quiet pipes to the composition 'A Window To the Past.' Slow, quiet, and gentle. That seemed to work. Or so SymphoniaPaw thought it should. But maybe the other cats really didn't think that it was a quote 'special' gift, and was utterly usless. He didn't care. Blister seemed to react to the song he played; her mucles relaxed, so he didn't care much about what anyone else thought.
Blister looked over the kit. Very small. Roughly normal besides that though. Normal for other clans. Being normal in this clan though would be would make him the outsider. Maybe he did have a power though, even those who are big sometimes don't know they have them. She looked down at her own power. How completely usless it was. Sparks - not even real sparks - popped and fizzeled out around her ankles, down to her claws.

His mind was a whirring, spinning cloud of confusion. "That sound--m-m-myoosik, you call it?--is nice. I envy you all." For the most part unobservant, he had yet to notice Blister's sparks or even her general appearance. Quite honestly, he paid no attention to detail. Examining his smoky gray paws, he unsheathed and sheathed his unusually short claws. This and his runt stature was perhaps his most remarkable feature; everything else about him could be expressed in the most ordinary of terms. Physical description: dark gray fur, light gray eyes, short fur, short claws, decent-sized tail, small limbs and body.

Rosewhisper's rough tongue swept behind his ears one last time and then she stood back to take a good look at him. Littlekit seemed to be somewhat back to his normal self. He was staring, with wide eyes, at his paws, but he didn't seem to be soaking anything in except Symphionapaw's music. Rosewhisper's mouth turned up slightly at the edges. She didn't want to laugh, but his wide eyes seemed displaced on the little cat.

Yawning, Littlekit's mouth stretched to impossible lengths, nearly exceeding his dreams. With a sigh, he trembled as if some foreign power had overthrown him. "I wish I could do that every day. It'd be a lot more interesting than just sitting around in the kit den all the time."

Rosewhisper let out a sigh. "Well, I'm glad you're feeling better," she said flicking her tail to the fresh kill pile. "Are you hungry? 'Cause I sure am,"

Food! Real food! Eyes alight, Littlekoot salivated at the prospect of it. After moons of his mother's milk, he was growing weary of liquified sustenance. "Yes! What do you usually eat?"

ooc: has he ever eaten fresh kill??
bic: Rosewhisper padded over to the freshkill pile with Littlekit at her heels. "Uh...usually something from the freshkill pile," she answered, a little unsure of what he meant. "My favorite are finches though. I just love the crunch!" the beautiful she-cat smiled at the thought.

ooc: Oh God. Did I honestly type "Littlekoot"? Anyway, yeah he hasn't.
bic: Tilting his head to one side, the dark young tom muttered something incomprehensible under his breath. Squinting, he tried to make out the specific little details of the pile of flesh before him. He was nearly going blind, it seemed! Everything did seem a bit blurry, he had to admit. Focusing his mind on what Rosewhisper was saying, he nodded. Whiskers twitching in amusement, he tried to think of something moderately intelligent to point out. "What's the texture of them like?"

ooc: haha I didn't even notice! bic: Rosewhisper laughed, her green eyes twinkling happily at him. "The feathers aren't very good, but once you get past eating the feathers, the meat is so delicious and sweet." Rosewisper's mouth watered at just the thought. She padded up to the freshkill pile and looked around for a finch. Seeing none, she grabbed a vole. "And right after finches come voles. They're so succulent and juicy in the summer," she murmured through a mouthful of vole.

Peering anxiously up as if it might come back to life and attack him, Littlekit was careful to keep his distant from the fatty-looking meat. As hungry as he was and as appetizing as it appeared, there was something...peculiar about it. "I don't think that you should eat that, Rosewhisper. It looks kind of bad. Like it's rotten or tainted." His sharp sense of smell could not lie; there was definitely a pungent odor wafting from it.
