o.m.g. wow that's long, but it's also really good :] you're a good writer. I don't really know how to respond to that though, since I don't have a cat in that clan...

ooc: Thanks. I usually try to refrain from posting really long rps, since it's always kind of daunting and awkward to respond to, but it was just to capture the mood. You can respond with what's going on in LegendClan, like just say that the cats are bracing themselves for battle. By the way, should LegendClan attack first, or should EvilClan?

Cats returned to their dens to get some rest and prepare their weary bodies for the battle soon to unfold before the watchful eyes of StarClan--and of every other Clan for that matter. This would serve as quite the example, an example for the whole forest to take into account and remember on a regular basis.
Once noon neared enough, Serpentwire took post on High Stone once again. "EvilClan, we go onward! With the upmost haste, skill, and potency, we will deliver our vulgar message down the throats of all who bear stomach to it. Kill and maim and claim as many as you can. Send the more senior warriors first! Next, the senior apprentices! Then, the mid-warriors! The mid-apprentices! The junior apprentices! The junior warriors! I and Daedrapulse will take the back! In this order; straight march!" She wouldn't be surprised if her cries were heard all across the west forest area. Taking her position, she scurried alongside her unusually stoical brother; no characteristic smirk.
They ambushed LegendClan through the gorse tunnels, battle cries chorusing and raging through as they flattened their opponents. The war had started.

Rosewhisper ed her head and listened hard; she could hear Evilclan approaching. They didn't seem to be making themselves inconspicious (sp). The she-cat had come in time to warn her clanmates and they all stood ready with their defenses up. Rosewhisper closed her eyes and tuned her self to the ground beneath her. She felt the Evilclan cats coming closer; her many "eyes" in the forest could tell her where each cat was and where they would step before they even did it themselves. Rosewhisper could hear shuffling around her as cats moved around and prepared themselves. She focused harder to what was happening in the forest. A tree creaked and the bushes snapped angrily. Evilclan was in for a surprise.
Icepaw saw Rosewhisper off towards the edge of camp. He knew if Evilclan was close enough for Rosewhisper to hear them, then Icepaw would be able to do what he could too. He closed his icy-blue eyes briefly and instantly he could hear gasps around him. A small smile spread across his face and he opened his eyes again. A thick mist/fog had settled over the camp and out into the forest. Icepaw could clearly see through the mist/fog and he slipped silently around his clanmates; touching noses with them so that they could also see through the mist/fog. Already, he knew Legendclan had an advantage. Icepaw came to Rosewhisper last and he silently touched noses with her. The she-cat didn't move a muscle as he brow knotted together in concentration. He padded back to the rest of his clanmates. A yowl rose into the air and the battle started for Legendclan.
ooc: wow. um. sorry, but I kind of used the same last line as you did, seren, I hope that's okay :/

ooc: OMG, !_!, you stole my self-copyright! I'LL SUE YOU! Nyeah. It's fine. bic: Exasperated to no end, Daedrapulse wished that the lines would move faster. He, like his sister, relished the thought of battle. Perhaps he could even gain a few more scars or flesh wounds; he groaned in ecstasy, causing Serpentwire to irritatedly glare at him. The walls were all up, and the barriers had come down. There was nowhere to run but forward, as far as any cat was concerned. It was time. Serpentwire stepped back to bark further orders. "Frontal attack, prepare! Take leave"--here she paused to paw the Earth three times--"now!" With a bound, thick muscular legs set off; the senior warriors had taken their leave. Vicious snarling bundles of energy unleashed themselves upon their victims, gouging out eyes, lunging for throats, and raking claws down sides. Knowing that her kits were securely tucked away in the nursery with the other queens, Fayreign felt that it was her duty as a responsible warrior and parent to protect her family. Fangs bared, she latched herself onto a generic smoky-colored EvilClan senior warrior. He fought her hard and to the best of his ability, but he was undoubtedly the slowest opponent she had ever fought. Smirking, she ran a jagged claw down her spine and clucked her tongue at his wails of protest. Once he had fallen to the ground, she kicked him in the stomach before scanning the clearing. Other cats didn't seem to be faring as well as she. Her own mother was having a bit of trouble with Daedrapulse, attempting to pin him to the forest floor, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Serpentwire tilted her head as she took in her surroundings. What a pitiful excuse for a camp. The dens were miniscule and there were scarcely any real warriors fighting. Examining her claws, she yawned. Where were the nutjob imbeciles dead-set on murdering her?

A large, black tom edged towards the nursery; his head was already peeking inside the protected den. A yowl rose from his throat as Rosewhisper slashed at his side. He whipped around and the she-cat could see the hatred in his old eyes. Rosewhisper raked at his side again and his paw came down hard on her shoulder, but not as hard as she would've expected. She bit down on his tail and gave him a few more scars before he ran off into the underbrush. That was an easy fight. Rosewhisper looked around the camp to see cats from both clans pinned to the ground -- most of them were Evilclan. Suddenly, a new wave of cats thundered into the camp. They were trying to wear them out, Rosewhisper thought.

Senior apprentices whooshed into LegendClan territory, crossing the border they had only noticed in passing from other raids. This was more than a simple sabotage-and-run mission; this required skill and precision and brought about a much clearer goal. Leave no one alive. No one left alive...
The onslaught continued full-force, seeming endless. A barrage of figurative bullets hit Fayreign and Slivermoon, causing them to collide in a freakish chain reaction. Their worlds swam and the moons seemed to shift above as they saw nothing but the comforting stretch of blue becoming silver and taking on multiple forms.

Rosewhisper screamed, but the noise was hardly heard. The Legendclan clearing was full of writhing cats; she could hardly see the ground for all the blood and bodies. Rosewhisper whipped around at the cat that made her scream. It was an apprentice; hatred seeped everywhere from his body. She understood the message in his eyes. Kill. And at whatever cost.
The she-cat swiped at him and he ducked. He raked her side and she slashed at his head. Rosewhisper could feel his ear rip beneath her claws. Blood oozed down his face and she clawed again. His side was streaked with blood and his tail was bent akwardly before he ran, screaming, away. Rosewhisper limped slightly. She took in a deep breath and the air peirced at her lungs. It was as if even the air was against them.
Rosewhisper padded over the side of the camp as fast as she could and closed her eyes. She let her mind float and connect with the world around her. Icepaw's mist was slowly thinning. She needed to hurry. Rosewhisper's eyes flashed. "Legendclan!" she yelled. "Move!" she knew they would understand. She had explained her plan ahead of time. Legendclan rushed to the sides of the camp and the giant tree gaurding their clan slammed into the camp. It's hard branches scratched at her face and tangled in her fur; she could heard screams -- from both clans it seemed. Rosewhisper held the tree down for a few moments and then eased it up slowly. The branches tore at the camp walls and made an awful creaking noise as it went to stand back up and guard the camp once again.

It was a scene to watch from the side lines. He didn't dare try to help fight, Starclan knows that he would only hinder the battle for Legendclan. His white eyes flashed from fight to fight, so much stimulation, if tingled his paws. SoftenedOak cheaked and re-cheaked for the basics just after the fight. There was too much movment, and he wouldn't be able to move fast enough. But exactly how many cats would Starclan claim if he didn't act? It was hard to watch, the pelts blended together, but he kept good tabs on the pelts that were known as his own, and the ones that weren't.

They were out, unconscious, just like that. It was a wonder EvilClan's cats didn't rip them to shreds then-and-there as they drifted off into the Land of Short Return. Fayreign began to see neon circles float over her head, zooming by, while Slivermoon heard voices fading and saw a landscape getting bleaker with each step forward. Was she even stepping? All was a blur.
On the battlegrounds, the mid-warriors rushed in, tearing at any throats that posed themselves available. Well-seasoned, they lunged after the smaller-statured cats. Size didn't matter, but there was always that one advantage. Sinking their fangs into random passersby, there seemed to be an infinite number of them. It was no wonder that EvilClan had waited this long to plan their attack--they had been preoccupied with procreating!

Icepaw looked up. The tree attack had been useful -- dead bodies lay on the ground. Suddenly, a new rush of cats entered the camp. They had more warriors! Icepaw didn't know when they would stop coming. Quickly, he hurled himself into the fray. He ran into a big black cat. It's face was badly scarred and the snarl on his mouth disfigured his face even more. Icepaw swatted at the tom, but he dodged it easily and raked his claws down Icepaw's flanks. He let out a yowl and turned towards the cat. The apprentices eyes were filled icy fire. Icepaw jumped up onto the tom and bit down into his neck. The warrior whirled around in confusion and anger, but Icepaw bit down harder. He could feel the black cats tense muscles beneath his teeth. Suddenly, the cat let out a yowl and Icepaw jumped off as he ran into the safety of the forest.
