Nightstep had no idea of why but she thought that she knew one of the cats she stared at him for the logest time and relised that he was the cat from last night or so she thought. She quickly excused herself from the cat that sat infront of her. She quickly padded over to the male cat who she was sure had helped her last night. When wasnt even a mouse tail away she froozed. 'What am I doing going up to a strange cat that I dont even know and what was I even gong to say to him' Nightstep thought to herself.

He raised his 'eyebrows' at her. She loked to be aproaching him, as if to speak, but then she had stopped. What a peculiar little cat. "Yes?" He asked, loud enough so she could hear him, "Is there something I can help you with?" He moved towards her. His light cream colored paws needed cleaning, he oberved, as they were covered in mudd.
His sister, on the other hand, watched from a view. SouthernWinds wasn't sure if she wanted to join the conversation or not, so she sat, and watched as her brother closed the distance between the small she-cat and him.

Nightstep mind raced with with answers, she didnt know whether to run or to say somthing. She finally puffed out her crest and said "thank you" in a small vioce that sounded weak and scared. She looked into the large he-cats eyes but quickly looked away she couldnt believe that she had said anything to him at all.

He laughed - purred rather - softly at her. "What exactly are you thanking me for?" She was an odd one, wasn't she? Oh yes, she'd be another unique add to the clan. She wolud be fun to have around, with her changing additude swings, if they continued. It made him want to bellow out loud.
SouthernWind's gut twisted in rage. What was she thanking him for? The cream colored she-cat slunk into the shadows of the camp, and there she tore a whole in the camp's wall with her rage and claws. The sudden out-burst was unlike her, and was quickly gone. Still, she was rather perplexed as to why the small she-cat would thank him and not her.
ooc: He-cats are called toms.

"For last night, you saved me did you not" Nightstep replied. Her vioce was strong and full. She didnt know what had come over her but she didnt mind the change at all. Some thing about the large tom made her feel safe inside and happy but for the life of her she could not figure out why.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry if I bumped you, it was hard to set you down. My sister helped you out too, though I don't exactly know where she is..." He cast a glance around, and then smiled. "Glad to be rid of her actually!" A smiled spread over his may, his eyes brightened.
Glad to be rid of me are you? I'll show you....[i\] She couldn't budge er paws, even an inch, and she was glad. If she did, she might have ripped her dark-pelted brother to shreds. Why? She had no clue.

Ledgestep had tried and failed, like she always did. She, who had been destined by the stars to save her Clan, only to let everyone down so miserably. But that had turned out to be nothing, so it couldn't have been her fault... Nevertheless, she blamed herself entirely for everything--even the most minor of events--that occurred in OceanClan. Famine--her fault. Kits dying in winter--her fault. It was all she could do not to strangle herself or hurl herself off a cliff. She imagined it'd hurt a bit at first, but once she was free...once she was free...
There was chatter not too far off. Sniffing the air, she caught scent of Northernwaters and Nightstep. Conversing? Alone? Craning her neck from the boulder on which she perched, she tried not to do anything to get her much attention. She wished she had something to eat, she realized, as she watched the exchange of dialogue.

"Well thanx her for me.......ummm I do not know your name" she replied. Nightstep looked around hoping to see what he had been looking for as well, but she relised that it was quit hard to find somthing that one does not know one is looking for. Nightstep retured her attention once again to the dark pelted tom.

"Oh," A glum look took over his face, "Yeah, I will." He said. He puzzled for a moment, as if she had asked him something that required a large amount of thought. "My name is NorthernWaters, but I haven't learned your yet ether." It was an offer that she didn't have to accept, but seeing as she was a clan-member, it would be nice to now her name.
SouthernWinds caught a good glace of Ledgestep, canning her neck at the pair of conversing cats. "What are you looking at?" She asked with something that sounded like very real curiosity. Though, she had already figuered it out, it woudl be nice to not be spying alone.

"So you dind't have a name before, but when you came to the forest you thought to adapt one... That's smart." He mused over the idea, taking a long good look at the small cat. So she was.... a Warrior. Odd, she was smaller than that, though some cats only grew to half the size of others. That must have been her case. It fit her, with her dark pelt. He smiled vaugly.

" I was just Night at first then I heard other cats calling each other step, pelt and paw after their name so I thought thats how a name was so I put step at the end of mine was that wrong of me to do" she asked. Nightstep was a little worred that she might get into trouble with in her first day at what she was sure her new home or at least thats what she hoped.

"No that's not wrong t all, though I would ask if you have training..." He didn't want to go mucking around in her buisness, though it wouldn't seem apropraite for a cat with not training to be a warrior. He would gladly start training her this afternon if she wished though.

"So you havent. Well in the forest of Streams every cat in a clan eventually becomes a warrior. We all go through training as an apprentice to learn how to fight, and to learn how to abide by the Warrior Code. The least amount of time you can spend as an apprentice is six moons, but after that you're free to become a warrior, if your trainer thinks your ready." He explained to her the whole rutien of the apprentice to warrior transfer, and then asked, "If you would like I would be glad to train you. We can start today."
