"Ooh," mewed the RogueClan tom as he set eyes on the dome. "Impressive." Of course he'd seen it before, but never this close, and always before with trees blocking most of the view. Only from here could he truly see how massive the structure was, and how many massive secrets it could hold inside.
He heard a faint hiss from Sidge. "Be careful," his friend hissed, "It's dangerous here."
"Oh, right," Flintspire mewed apologetically, shrinking back to the safety of a large bush. "Have you ever been here before, Sid?" he asked.
Sidge narrowed his eyes at the dome. "Yes." he replied. "But I'm sorry, I can't tell you what I saw inside. You'll have to see it for yourself." Flintspire nodded. It made perfect sense. He was only a bit worried about how he was to avoid detection by the cats that were surely wandering the area...

The snow-white she-cat patrolled the area, bored out of her mind. De ongelovige couldn't help but feel that their efforts were pointless. What were they trying to find? Then again, what did she know? She was merely a Middle Rank--nothing special. Creeping along the edge, she caught sent of something...off, to say the least. Wrinkling her nose, she stayed put, attempting to find the intruder.

Flintspire scented the air, but it was difficult to distinguish much other than cat, and lots of them.
"We should move out," Sidge said.
Flintspire shrugged. "Kay, if you say so." And with that he bounded out from under his cover, keeping his dark grey pelt low to the ground and he ran for a nearby tree, climbing up to the nearest branch and surveying the area. "Hey!" he cried. "I can see more cats from here!"
Sidge's hurried shush! came a few seconds too late.

Fur standing on end, De ongelovige ran to the source of the yowls. Hackles raising and eyes ablaze, she glanced around furtively. There wasn't anything on the ground level nearby. Perhaps this cat or creature was good at hiding. Looking up into the sky, her search came to a halt as she narrowed in on Flintspire. A low growl escaping her throat, De ongelovige made her challenge. "I suggest you come down from there right now," she ordered, her tone cool as ice.

Flintspire's eyes widened as he stared down at his discoverer. For perhaps the first time, he was doubting the wisdom of his decision. He shook his head back and forth frantically. No way he was coming down. It seemed as though this hostile cat hadn't spotted Sidge yet, but he was good at hiding, so that didn't mean much.

Tail bristling, she sat on her haunches. "Are you deaf? I said, 'Come down.'" Tilting her head to one side quizzically, the she-cat didn't wait for a response. Digging her claws into the tree, she hoisted herself upwards. In a matter of minutes, she sat next to the young tom. Animosity flowed through her veins. "What business do you have here?" One more question, one more chance to save his life.

ooc: Did you know that Mara gives you a gift/avvie for being active for 4 months? They're pretty pathetic-looking, too. But it is Mara, after all.

Flintspire choked on whatever he was going to say as soon as this dangerous cat appeared on the branch beside him. Whirling to face her, he backed up a pace. He stuttered for a moment, then stopped and started again, "I'm... lost?" The excuse seemed feeble, even to him.
(haha. did not know that.)

Liar!, she accused in her mind. She feigned sweetness. "Let me show you the way back." Unsheathing a claw, she cut through the tree branch, sending Flintspire pummeling to the Earth. Twirling her body around the tree trunk and sliding down, her whiskers twitched in amusement.
"All harshness aside, I'm sorry that you've stumbled upon our quarters and that I behaved so rashly. Let me make it up to you." Sincerity pierced through the hardened mask. She was highly skilled in her art, and she took great pride in this fact.

ooc: They gave me a freaking voodoo doll. Isn't that a great message for kids? "Got frustrations? Take it out on the person of your choice! Make them sufferrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

( owow. srsly. shame on mara. D:<
and aww, flinty's next move was going to be to push her off the branch. )
From this cat's surprising new tone, Flintspire almost believed her - and perhaps he would have, had not Sidge whispered quietly to him. But Flintspire went along with it. "Oh.." he mewed. "Well I'm sorry to have been any trouble..." It took all his will to relax his claws back into their sheaths. He remained secrely alert, seemingly frozen, but actually focusing on listening and watching. He might not be the forest's greatest warrior, but he had gone through fighting training just like everyone else, and he knew what he was doing.

ooc: lawl. De ongelovige is a swift warrior; she acts quickly and as calmly as she can while trying to think of the consequences.
Sniffing his pelt, De ongelovige tried not to wrinkle her nose at the unaccustomed scent. Wherever he was from, they had a rather rank, acrid scent about them. "It's nothing. But you'd better leave before someone else discovers you. And I have an obligation to my family--if I see, smell, or hear you anywhere around this area, I have full authority to kill you on spot. Understand?" Licking her paws, she began to groom herself while eying Flintspire's reaction to the last two statements. It would be fun to mess with this one's mind.

ooc//I'm just going to throw a few cats in. Hope that is alright
bic//A white she-cat was running through the undergrowth cursing under her breath as she felt branches create scratches just at the surface f her skin. Why in the name of starclan did she follow him here? Being completely lost and angered by her foolish mistake, the RougeClan warrior burst out into a run as a gust of wind brought the scent of the monotonous male. Though a turn around around a bend in the trees made her crash into something, that something having fur, breathing, and a cat. Both red eyes widen with shock and horror as they slowly ripped themselves from the chest of the cat and following it’s body until they met two icy eyes. Swallowing some air, an unease laugher escape from her as she took a few steps back away from the very handsome…no the ugly horrible smelling male into something else that was breathing as well. A stream of curses escaped from her muzzle as both eyes slowly looked as to what their idiotic owner ran into now. Yet another cat, this time white and not black. ‘Lovely…’ Rubyfaith thought as she was being pushed and shoved towards some bushes.
