There would definitely be a day off of some sorts now. Whitesoul doubted any cat would want to go out and hunt or patrol after hearing that news about their leader, but the tom didn't feel like sitting around and doing nothing. Maybe it was just how he dealt with stress such as this, but Whitesoul wanted to be out of the camp boundaries and actually doing something positive.
He stood, giving his chest a few quick licks bfore glancing around. Would any cat be up to doing anything productive? He had a want to hunt, or at least pad around aimlessly in the forest. Fadedsong had gone back to the oak, and Fernshadow was around, as well. Would either of the cats be up for something? If they weren't, or even if they were, he had to find Blackstrike. The dark pelted tom would be oblivious to what had just happened and would need to be told before he went and did something stupid.
Whitesoul padded over to Fernshadow first, dipping his head in a little greeting towards the she-cat. "Up for a hunt or something, Fernshadow?" He didn't give his reason as to why he wanted to get out of camp. If she wanted to know, all she had to do was ask.

FernShadow looked towards WhiteSoul with widen eyes as she tired to find her voice, which seem to fail around everyone. Licking her light pink tongue around her muzzle, she quickly nodded her head so she would not look like a fool in front of her clan mate. "Um...s-s-sure. Hunting.....is....erm....fine. Hunint is um...fine." She said seeming to almost stumble over her words as her heart began to race at hunderd miles per hour. She was never good at talking with anyone, no matter how they were. Swallowing heavily, she glanced towards the clan entrance praying he would just walk off so she would not have to say anything more but follow in his foot steps.

There was one cat willing to go with him. Whitesoul smiled at her, tail flicking once. "Awesome." Now just to see if Fadedsong was up to go. The tom glanced over at the other she-cat, ears perked forward. "Meet me outside of camp. I won't be long." Without waiting for an answer the warrior turned and bounded towards the other she-cat. "Hey. Up for some hunting? Fernshadow would be coming with." He sat down, awaiting the answer she might give. It might be better for the group of cats to get out and actually do something. It would, hopefully, turn their attention away from th news they had just heard.

FernShadow nodded her head as she padded away towards the forest wondering about her sister for a moment as she glanced over her shoulder. At least WhiteSoul was willing to talk to the one eye cat. 'She needs a good friend,' she thought before dissappearing through the thorn tunnel before coming out the other side surrounded by the looming trees. FadedSong glanced up towards the warrior before pushing herself up into a sitting position. For a minute or two she thought over his offere wondering if it was a good idea, but then her old fall back came to mind. Though before she could utter it, she quickly reliazed RavenFeather was no longer here anymore, so her lie to get out of anything was gone. "Sure," she said,"That would be fine with me."

"Great. Fernshadow's meeting us outside of camp." The tom turned, glancing over his shoulder and waiting a moment for Fadedsong before padding towards the entrance of the camp, slipping out into the forst that made up Rogueclan's territory. Whitesoul looked around for Fernshadow, padding over to join the other she-cat. "Once Fadedsong gets out here we can go. Hopefully there's some prey to be caught today. Starclan knows the heat is enough to drive any creature into the shadows."

FadedSong nodded softly before following WhiteSoul, but in a wary say so not to make to much noise fr the mourning. Sighing, she escaped into the forest feeling much better well as relaxed. Inhaling the scents, she felt the forest was the most peacful place besides her nest of course. Shaking her head, she pulled away from her slight bliss before she padded towards WhiteSoul and FernShadow. The older tabby gave a faint smile as she watched her sister pad over. Giving a quick purr, she stood up onto all fours. "...um....we...ready?" she said in a much braver voice.

Smiling as Fadedsong padded over, Whtiesoul nodded. "Looks like it." One paw raised, tail flicking at the idea of heading off and getting some sort of work out. Though he didn't think of himself as leader of the party, Whitesoul had been the one to ask these two to join him. The problem was, he had no idea where to start the hunt. Raising is nose to the air, the tom took a few good sniffs before padding off in a direction that would lead them somewhat close to the training grounds. Whitesoul wanted to see if Blackstrike was still there, like he said he would be earlier this morning. Having another cat to help hunt shouldn't be an issue, and it would seem less awkward since it was just him and two she-cats at the moment. One more tom to even things out.

FernShadow nodded her head before leaping over a set of bushes leading on the other side with a soft thud. Shaking her pelt, she padded off following the scent that was forcing itself through her open jaws. Though she kept close towards the others making sure she would not lose their scent. FadedSong, meanwhitle, sank into the shadows using her pelt to blend in with the forest floor as she padded along trying to listen and smell for prey, but was not having much luck. Snorting, she parted her jaws wider only to get a smell of fox dung. Curling her nose with disgust, she turned away from it before slipping between the trees, her blind side towards WhiteSoul.

Though he was searching for prey, Whitesoul was more on the lookout for the scent of his best friend than rabbit or mouse. His ears kept alert for the pawfalls of the two other cats. The hunt was started. The warrior lowered his head, scenting now more for prey. Picking out scent of anything edible this close to where many cats traveled was difficult. The old scent of mouse was faint, nothing worth trailing. He sighed, about to continue on with his search.
"Whitesoul!"
And the poor light pelted tom and tackled by his darker hued best friend. Though he couldn't help but be happy at seeing the cat he had been slightly searching for, Whitesoul rolled his eyes and pushed Blackstrike off of him. "Mousebrain! Your loud voice scared off all the prey from here to the border!"
"Hehe. Sorry. So, you're hunting? Alone?" Blackstrike backed off, lifting a paw to scratch at his ear.
"No, with Fadedsong and Fernshadow." The white tom stood, shaking out his pelt before heading back to the hunt, now sure he wouldn't find anything in this area.
"Why them?"
"Because I can."

FadedSong was trotting along the forest floor until the scent of a rabbit entered her nose. She dropped to the floor crawling after it with seeminglessly soundless steps until a bird cried out from behide her making the rabbit look her way. For a moment both creatures stared at each other in a stare off to see who made the first move. The rabbit twitched it's nose and quickly dashed off. Cursing, FadedSong went after it quickly as she could. The rabbit darted out from the bushes, running under BlackStrike, which was followed by FadedSong running after her pray before she leapt over the black tom and after the rabbit. Both the cat and the rabbit dissappeared out of the sight and seem to be lost in the darkness of the woods.
The rabbit was quite daring, but FadedSong would not give him. Pressing down onto her paws, she leapt forward with all her might as she came down on it giving it a swift bite on the neck quickly snapping it. Soon her jaws were full of the limp creature which brought delight to her eyes. Tossing her head about, she dropped the rabbit as she noticed the stream showing her unscarred side. Blinking slowly, she looked closer to see the beauty she would have had if FlowerScent never became angery. Her mind soon forgot about her grand hunting skills as she locked in onto her looks. Slowly turning her head, she gaze upon her true self. Scars with missing fur and a missing eye, now only a pit in her skull were her green eye should have been. Her green eye that was paired with her icy blue eye since birth. Disgust filled her as she smacked the water with her paw, distorying her reflection. She hated bodies of water...they mocked her so.

As Blickstrike asked question after question, most of which were met with short replies, Whitesoul tried to continue on his way. It just wasn't working as well as the white warrior throught. Paws thudding against the forest floor made him pause, ears perked and twitching for the direction the sound was coming from. "Hold up. Something's coming." Two different pawsteps? Had to be. There was a different rhythm with both, but at least he sound the direction now. Turning his head, Whitesoul watched with an amused purr as the rabbit darted under Blackstrike, who was standing as still as possible, and then as Fadedsong leaped over him after her prey.
"W-what just happened?" Blackstrike asked, shocked and not quite sure if he would turn and run after the she-cat or continue on walking after Whitesoul.
"You've been used as a hurtle. Go find Fernshadow. I'll go after Fadedsong and make sure she's alright." Without waiting to see if his friend would comply, Whitesoul turned and bounded deeper into the forest, following the she-cat's scent trail.
"Wait! Whitesoul! Why do I have to-!" But shouting and further wasn't any use. The white tom was gone, searching for the one eyed warrior. With a sigh, the black one turned, sniffing the air for any trace of the other warrior. Tracking was not his best trait in any way. It was a miracle he could follow a trail when hunting, let alone track a cat that was trying to be stealthy. Still, the least he could do was try. Or end up being scared half to death when said cat jumped out at him.
Meanwhile, Whitesoul slowed his pace as the scent grew stronger, keeping alert should she still be chasing that rabbit. It seemed it didn't have to worry about that, since the scent of blood soon flowed into his nose. Now, the tom was at a steady walk, not trying to hide his presence there, but not wanting to suddenly startle Fadedsong. The she-cat had come into view for Whitesoul, but she was standing there, staring at the water of a stream. 'Everything alright?" he questioned, sitting down with his tail over his paws.

Billowstar had spent the remainder of the vigil in silence in his old spot. Unnecessary and overwhelming grief struck him like a mighty blow to the stomach, forcing him to recoil and peel back into himself. He was a wreck; the members of the Clan were probably a collection of wrecks. Flicking his ears as he furrowed his brow, he watched as the sun set with its brilliant orange hues and underlying blue themes. Crying out in frustration, he shook his paw as he wondered how such a travesty could occur. They'd taken her away, just like that. Still, as he gazed upon one of nature's many beauties, he realized that he couldn't stay angry for much longer. His Clan needed him to move on; he was behaving like a spoilt kit. With a final flick of his tail, he set out for the fresh-kill pile, scooping out a small robin. The Clan was deathly quiet, and he realized that everyone else must have gone hunting, on patrol, or to their respective dens. He still had the time to wonder, and he was beginning to wonder if wondering was all he would be left to do.

ZombieGrail gave a heavy sigh as he watched the clan move about in a slow matter. Quite a few went off to the forest to finish off the normal duties they had while others just went to sleep in their nests. Snorting, he shook his head before spotting the deputy with a rather pluzzed expression on his face. Twtiching his nose, he padded over toward the tom, keeping his massive paws light on the ground as he did so. "BillowCloud," he muttered towards the tom in a low voice. "Tomorrow night you will need to go to Moon Stone to gain your new name well as your nin lives. I can help you if you wish. I have helped two leaders in the past three season cycles. It would be no harm to me." He was rather serious about his statement. GlassStar was simple to take care of for she hardly had any questions. CloudStar was always asking questions which drove him up a wall, but he figured it was always for the best. He also realized that Billowcloud needed someone who was stable to help him through his change in his life.
FadedSong's body jerked slightly as WhiteSoul's voice echoed out into the birsk night air. Turning around, she shook her head roughly as her light pink tongue drew over her muzzle, cleaning it of the rabbit's blood. "No," she said quickly almost in a panic filled tone. Blinking slowly, both ears twitched unease like as she to sat herself down, though at least a fox lenght away from the stream so she was not tempted to look into the mocking reflecting surface. "Why do you ask?" she questioned fightful that WhiteSoul saw a bit of weakness in her. She was trying to hard to be a normal cat like the rest of her clan mates, but it was hard at times and any weakness could give her clanmates reasons to go to their leader and force them to make her an elder.

Grateful that no one was keen on calling him by his not-yet-official name, he felt embarrassed to admit that he had forgotten that he wasn't to gain the name of Billowstar until he touched noses with Moonstone. He could already feel its cool, metallic touch. Nodding in silence, he stared at the forest floor for a moment, eying an invisible red flower. Life was so fragile, hanging in the balance. "Thank you," he whispered. Beginning to cough, he realized that his throat was dry. Excusing himself to get some water, he padded for the stream not far off and kneeled down. Once he was refreshed enough, he tried to focus on others' problems. There seemed to be something interesting happening with Fadedsong.

Whitesoul's head tilted to the side at Fadedsong's quick reply. Something had to be up. She didn't sound calm or relaxed, or anything like that. In fact, the she-cat almost sounded a bit panicked. Had he interrupted something? Whitesoul hoped not. The last thing he needed was to have to deal with a cat disliking him for one reason or another. Clan life was going to get tougher, as is. The tip of his tail flicked, a shrug coming and going. "No reason. You just seemed distracted, so I thought I'd ask. What, is there something wrong with being concerned for one's clanmates now?" It wasn't a sarcastic comment. There was barely a hint of attitude in the white warrior's words. He just wanted Fadedsong to know why he had asked what he had.
