"I love you." The words were so simple and yet so hard to take in, but she said them with full-awareness. Never had she thought that she would utter those words to any tom (or she-cat, possibly). But once it was said, it felt easier to face and she felt as if she had accomplished some great feat.
Bushkit rolled over on his side in his sleep, yawning.
Tail between limbs, she looked into Mysterykit's eyes. "Thanks." Cats may not physically cry, but that doesn't mean the pain isn't still there.

Mysterykit looked at her and regretted her words. "Not to disturb you or anything. It's just a possibilty." she meowed.
Icekit was enjoying this and kept prodding his brother.
Glacierheart stood up and licked her cheek. "I love you too," he whispered. "And I mean every bit of it."

Nudging her sister, she let her body sink to the Earth. "It doesn't. It makes me feel better." And it did; it was a rare moment where the opposite of what seems to be plausible is true.
Opening his eyes, Bushkit sighed as he looked into Icekit's face. "Stooop," he whined. "I'm tired, Icekit."
Purring, she couldn't help but feel joy at that moment. The circumstances were odd, granted, but she felt like Aquaheart would've wanted them to feel joy rather than sorrow.

Icekit stuck his tongue out at Bushkit and he kept prodding him.
Mysterykit looked at Aquakit and smiled. "Glad I could make you feel better," she whispered.
Glacierheart looked at his kits and then back at Fayreign. "You read to be an adopted mother?" he asked.

Nipping at him, Bushkit sprung onto his limbs and bashfully hid behind his father. Aquakit watched in sheer amusement at how ridiculous he looked.
Breathing in and out, Fayreign met his gaze and held it for a few seconds. Whatever lay ahead down the road, she was certain she could handle it. "Yes."

Glacierheart purred. "Then let's get back to camp. Come on Children!" he meowed and padded next to Fayreign to camp.
Icekit stuck his tongue out one more time at Bushkit before getting a running start before he glided.
Mysterykit laughed at her brothers, they both looked ridiculous. She then followed her father and adopted mother calmly.

Breathing in and out as deeply as she could without hyperventilating, Fayreign gazed behind her at the fluttering, minute kits. There was Icekit with his impressive transparent wings of--what other than--ice; Aquakit with her peculiar chemically-altered (appearance-wise) turquoise-colored pelt and slightly melancholy eyes; Mysterykit with stripes matching Aquakit's entire hue and shaded wings; and shy Bushkit with his plant-green fur and dark chestnut tip of a tail. They were hers; she was theirs. Together, as one happy family. But the words didn't mean as much to Fayreign as the actions of her newfound daughters, sons, and mate.

Mysterykit padded up to Fayreign. "Hey!" she meowed, trying to get to know her new mother.
Icekit stuck his tongue out again at Bushkit as he was ahead of him, gliding perfectly.
Glacierheart gazed at Fayreign as he walked, but still seeing infront of him. His new mate was as loyal as could be. It was weird that he was happy right after Aquaheart's death.

Sheepishly, she knelt down to nuzzle the kit, one of her new daughters. "Hullo," she greeted as calmly as possible, looking the opposite of what was going on inside of her.
Leaf wings flapping, Bushkit ignored Icekit, pushing closer to Aquakit. "He won't leave me alone," he whispered almost conspiratorially, as if he wanted to give Icekit the impression that everyone was plotting against him. Shaking her head, Aquakit kept on at a steady pace with everyone, trying to ignore her bizarre brothers and focus on her new mother. Fayreign seemed so strained.

Mysterykit looked up at her. "I can tell you're uncomfortable, but I understand completely," she meowed to Fayreign, a friendly smile on her face.
Icekit didn't care his ice wings flew easily.
Glacierheart was a little sheepish about it. It wasn't right to make her feel uncomfortable with being an adopted mother.

Whop! Blue/teal! Yey for color!
Okay. I'm in romantic o' love mood. I"m going to post...a series of posts that contain more of SymphoniaPaw and Blister. And in Rouge, I think I might have UnicornDream go see her ex-lover! *squee*
SymphoniaPaw was barely waking, although it was late. His mentor had not come to wake him? Good. All he wanted was sleep. The restless chores; cleaning, hunting, patroling, more cleaning, gathering ect. had run him down.
But more importaiantly Blister was still sleeping too. That was good. Last night she had gotten no sleep, and he had been worried as his eyelids were forced shut. He purred slightly. A deep melody started to eminate from the air.
Blister woke suddenly to the sound. Her eyes burst open, and she almost stood up right with the effort to sit. Her breathing was heavy, like she had just been sprinting, and he tail was full of sizzelz and pops.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to wake you!" Symphoniapaw whispered as she jerked awake.
"No. You didn't wake me..." She lied sleepily. "What time is it?"

"It's not exact discomfort," she replied. "It's more like a feeling of being temporarily overwhelmed. I think I need to lie down for a while." Bustling ahead, her breathing grew heavy as she tried to make sense of it all in her mind. She was too young. Too young to be a mother. No, you're not, a voice spoke up from inside her.
Yes, I am, she insisted, struggling to keep her voice steady.
Don't flatter yourself. You've had plenty of time to be young. You're not anymore. You might as well face it.
I'm not listening to you! I am not old!
You are! It's the truth, Fayreign! Listen to it!
I never asked to hear the truth! I don't want to hear the truth!
It doesn't matter! You can't stop the truth from leaking, even if you never stop believing.
I'm young! I'm more like a sister to them!
You're only three or four moons younger than him!
Yes, and we are not old!
You're impossible.
She left the internal debate there and wandered into the warriors den to rest. This was all so sudden and moving so rapidly. Time was passing so quickly; it was as if she could begin to feel her bones wither and deteriorate beneath her skin and muscles.
