Glacierheart padded into the camp with Fayreign and the rest of his kits. "You go into the warrios' den and get some rest Fayreign," he whispered to her.
Icekit couldn't resist to stick his tongue out one more time at Bushkit before heading towards the spot where he saw Windkit, his brother he hadn't seen in a long time.
Windkit stood up and was very happy as he saw his siblings coming towards him. "Aquakit! Icekit! Bushkit! Mysterykit!" he called happily, his heart-rate picking up.

Bristling angrily, Bushkit followed over to Windkit, their almost-long-lost-but-not-quite brother. Touching noses with him, he felt a shift in the atmosphere. It had gone from tense and anxious to thrilled and joyful. Family reunions were very helpful to the small kit, who had been separated from his entire family for too great an extent of time.
Whiskers twitching, Aquakit's tail twitched in excitement. "Hi, Windkit!" she cried, rushing over to playfully tackle him. "I missed you!"

Windkit kept purring and just rubbed muzzles with his siblings, happy tears starting to come.
Icekit purred back happily
Mysterykit smiled.

Rolling herself off of him, Aquakit purred in response. For her, this kind of moment was rare. How lucky other siblings were, always together. In her mind, she knew that they often did not see it that way and would have gladly traded lives with them where they could not see all of their siblings all the time, but she had always envied those cats the most. They who had complete families that they could fight with and yowl at and having training practice with and so much more. Fayreign might have been the best thing that had happened to them, she realized.

Icekit looked at his brother. "What did you do when you were here alone?" he asked.
Windkit frowned. "Now that's something I don't want to talk about," he meowed and then smiled again.

Stunned by Windkit's words, Aquakit could only tilt her head to one side. Not one to drop a subject once it's stated, she decided to pursue the conversation. "What happened?" she asked. It was a point of interest for her, and she needed to know.

Windkit looked at her and tilted his head. "It was to sad without you guys, why would I want to talk about it?" he meowed, still confused.

Mimicking his movements, she looked him dead-on. "Don't we have a right to know?" What was with Windkit? He was behaving so strangely. Maybe it was due to being separated for so long. Or maybe she didn't really know Windkit as she thought she did.

"Can we just leave sad stuff out for now?" Windkit asked. He really didn't feel like talking about the past.

"Fine," she mumbled, upper lip jutting out. Pouting, she lay flat on the ground. What was he so reluctant to discuss? I'm not forgetting about this conversation, though. Don't think I'm dropping it so quickly.

Windkit rubbed his muzzle against his sister's. "I love you and am thrilled to see you Aquakit, that's all," he told her calmly.
Icekit then prowled up behind Windkit and once right behind him he yelled, "AMBUSH!!!!" And he jumped on his brother playfully.
