ooc: It's okay. Hope I didn't make you feel bad, either--I was trying to joke about it. :3
bic: Without words, she leapt to her paws and went bounding north, not bothering to look to see if her father and father's not-friend-but-not-lover were following. She didn't care anymore. Billowing puffs of steam rose from the bubbling springs up ahead, toward the outskirts of OceanClan in the looming distance. Of course, as kittypets, they were oblivious to the expansion of Clan territory.
After an hour of trek, they finally emerged into the windingly sparse Monsterpath leading to the top of the mountain. She had worked up a bit of a sweat, but she didn't mind.

Sakura bounces along, bumping the kurb and skipping on the black swealtering monster path. She often cast glances at Ray, who never seemed to exchange any looks with her, but she didn't get the feeling he was mad with her. Just that he was concentrated on other things. If he wanted her, he knew she would be there if he wanted her. When she wasn't looking at Ray, she stared consistantly at the area right above Icerin's shoulder, and the little part of her shoulder that interveined in her sights. It was rythmic, how Ray's daughter pounded on the ground, moving foreward, and foreward.

Time passed and passed, and the journey seemed to last forever until eons later, when the once-distant figures soon emerged before them. A cavernous structure awaited them. "This is it!" Iecerin joyously chirped at the two--ahem--lovers before bouncing inside, tail lashing as if completely out of her control, muscles and skeletal system failing. Ray couldn't help chuckling as he watched her.
"They grow up quickly." He let it trail off.
"You want to see what the fuss is about?" Half-waiting for a reply, he leapt forward, dashing almost as rapidly as his daughter, legs ready to give out from all the climbing and traversing.

Her paws were weary. She hadn't been into anything like this before, so she followed with more relictance, observing how the shadows hung on the walls where there was an absence of light. Her ankels shook as the shade cast a odd chill upon her coat. "Yup. I'm comming..." Her voice echoed, and clashed with Ray's call. She didn't like it here. It seemed like a grave.

The caverns winded down into passageways, creeping underground if one were to continue downward. Ray sneezed, and the sound bounced off the walls erratically, echoing and blasting to his eardrums. He wanted to turn to her and tell her that they didn't have to go through with it, but his heroic daughter was already pushing through the rubble and barricades, probably against better judgment. Grimacing, Ray shook his head and dizzily swam forward like a horse in murky waters, deep and slowly overflowing. Panic overwhelmed him, gripping at the les of his heart. Unfortunately, though, they weren't the only curious ones in the cavern.

Sakura pressed close to Ray. The heat of him felt right here, even though the place felt wrong. It was half and half. She was scared to death, but every noise, motion, and shadow that seemed to move. It was impossible to see in front of her nose, but the air theat theymoved around was enough that she got around by smell. Her pelt shivered.
"I don't think there's an end to this, a way out, I mean." She whispered. It was to Ray, of corse, but his daughter heard anyways. It was too quiet in here for her not to.

Tilting his head back sideways, he stole a glance at her. Squinting as light blockaded his vision, his whiskers trembled as he awaited the Earth's steady movements. "There's always a way out. We just haven't found it yet." Teeth clenched tightly, his patience was running out, and he tried his best not to snap at her, but he couldn't completely hide all the steeliness to his tone. His words were double-edged, spiked.
A blundering bear arose from its slumber at the sounds of intruders. Sniffing blindly, its eyes nearly popped from its sockets once it caught whiff of the three cats. Two shes, one tom. Eyes narrowing, the bear lumbered out in determination, barreling forward, swiping at anything that stumbled into its path. Iecerin was the first to see it coming, and her muffled screams enraged the beast.

ooc: her death shall come quickly!!! hehe. little do you all know. ooh. Seren, you should know. Sakura had a relationship with Takuya, and since she was sterile, they had a foster mother (a loner unknown) bring them hers. Boo is going to find them soonly.
Sakura scrambeled. The only thing on her mind way Ray, and how he was going to get out alive. It had huge paws, even bigger claws. She was scared for his life. He said they hadn't found the exit yet. That was true. But light from the enterance shone bright still. She could tell where she was going, and what it was going to do.
"Ray!!!" She called. If she dragged it deeper with her own bait, they could both get to the exit.

Paddling out like a ship to the sea, Iecerin narrowly averted being pawed down and clobbered. "Ray!" She took up the chorus of cries, a demo-in-the-making. "Sakura," she hissed under her breath as she leapt over to join the duo. "Get out of here. You're just a tag-along. Besides, it seems like that... that thing is coming after you." Shuddering, she suddenly felt much colder, nerves tangled like bits of wire, uneven and shaking. Trembling under the weight of the world.

"I was planning on it." She swipped a clawed paw at Icerien. How could she be so stupid. Her hair fluffed out, and ears flattened. She wasn't going to fight with Ray's daughter, but rather with this huge monster. She yowled to get its attention for good. Its beady eyes rested furiously on her, its shackels raising.
"Take yourself out the front Ray! I'm going to find the back way out." That was the last time she looked at Ray, or smelled him. He was musky and warm. She'd never forget, even if she did live. Gentle eyes. Even after she'd betrayed him, he had cold but gentle eyes.
Her red pelt ducked away from a paw-swipe from the huge bear. A deadly hiss ruptured from her chest, and she dove into the depths of the cave. She smelled the place where the air dropped, and were the ledge was. If she had to throw herself over it to make sure he got out safe, then she would. But she knew big animals were stupid.

Ducking, Iecerin's own hackles stood at arms. "Are you insane?" she managed to spit out, full venom showing. Dusting herself off with her tail-tip, she jerked her head back in a whiplash-like motion, groaning at the pain. "Good luck," she choked out at last, throat dry and raspy. If the git wanted to risk her own life to save her good-for-nothing father, that was fine with her. And she knew that it wasn't up to her.
"Sakura! Are you sure?" She gave him no time to respond, suicidal plot already going into action. With a warble of alarm, he attempted to catch up to her, to drag her by the hind leg, but he was too weak and tired. Too tired of life. He fell forward, haunches crumbling like broken matchsticks. He would die, as would she. Both embraced their self-prophecies.
The bear drove after her, understanding at whom its next swipe was to be aimed. Fangs glistened with beaded saliva, it lunged downward, for her neck, inches from tearing her to pieces.

Inches. Just barely, but she managed to start running. Faster. he pushed herself to go father. Pounding the cold dead earth, she flexed her tendons, ever muscle. Finally the earth peeled away from underneath her, and she was running on air. Only for a second did she think she could make it.
An earspliting howl rose from her, as she spun in the air. The hige mass of rippling muscle was following her. It too procseeded to lauch itsself off the cliff. Planning on devoring her in mid air. It fell much quickly than her, its huge mass writhing in the air.
There was no ground at the bottom. Sakura made a huge - for a cat - splah against the underground lake. It stung, but she knew death was already upon her. She was to drown. Her mouth opened, and she sighed. All the air in her lungs hit the water as wriggling bubbles. She sank.
