SoftenedOak's eyes darted to the kit. "SliverMoon? She's in trouble?" '....And a kit would know this how? Perhaps he's a psyhic.' SoftenedOak thought. "Do we need to go Littlekit?" He asked urgently. Panic filled his veins suddenly, making his limbs tight, and he felt the urge to help his clan, no matter how useless he may be.
UnicornDream back tracked. The sent as stronger, and heavier. She growled, warning whomever it was down there that she was ready to fight, and she wasn't afraid of dying. She wold gladly die for her clan... She would watch over everyone she loved from...Wherever it was she ended up. Gladly.

Crushed, the time spent in his wretched cell had sharpened his senses to death. Even from so far away he could catch scent of it. "She's already dead. I can smell it from here." Licking his lips, he felt utterly useless. Even when he was imprisoned he hadn't felt as helpless. "We need to all escape. Let's start transporting cats out. If we all stay and fight, we'll just get killed."
"Don't be shy," Serpentwire called out. "Step up and defend your Clan, oh Noble One!" Sticking her tongue out, she perched closer to the dirt walls, taking in the scents of rot and decay. It was going to be somebody's funeral, but she knew it wasn't going to be hers. And if it was, no one would care; no one would mourn. Narrowing her eyes, she recalled her kithood. Everyone had cruelly mocked her, the crippled blind kit--No Sight. Foaming at the mouth like a mad dog, it only made her more determined to prove herself.

Unicorndream hissed ferily, and congured and imiage of DriftMoon to her mind. The wise she-cat would have known what to do, and why fear stalled her actions. It wasn't all that hard to tell, Unicorndream had never faught in a war before. It wasn't fear, but hesiation that dragged her paws slowly. She knew the cat down the way had much more experiance than she. Unicorndream thought of Driftmoon once more, and turned out of the dark tunnel. It wasn't worth her life.
SoftenedOak's eyes widened at the kit. He would become an exelent warrior one day, he could already see it.*Let us go back then. If you think we're needed then I've got to trust you." The white dappled tom stood, and did not walk - but did not run - with a slow pace towards teh great gash in the earth, that he had made for his clan to use. Even a couple steps closer the scent of fear was rampid, and it stung his nose.

No Sight, No sight to see, No Sight, No Sight can't see! It was as if she was barely two moons old, being pushed and throttled around again by the bigger, stronger, and full-sighted kits. They granted her no mercy despite her pleas and promises. Snapping jaws came at her throat when they sentenced her to be eaten alive by Twoleg dogs. Shuddering, she remembered it so vividly. That had been the day she had grown a backbone; rushing forward, she had raised her hackles and glared them each individually into submission. How they had whimpered and groveled at her paws! Since that day, she had never relinquished her strength.
Scowling, the she-cat crouched low to the ground and wriggled her haunches before charging full speed at the she-cat who dared to turn from her. "You," she sneered. "You think that you can just walk calmly away from me? You had the audacity to come here on your own accord and challenge me with your...your eyes. Don't you turn away from me when I am talking to you!" Striking out, she didn't stop hitting until she felt soft fur. So soft, so pretty, all drenched in blood...

ooc: Not unless you want me to. Serpentwire's a very conflicted personality, and she has certain disadvantages.

ooc: You could have her create some mud and roll around in it to erase her scent so that she'd get thrown off. And then she could join everyone else as they escaped.

ooc: roll around in mud... I like it! *dramatic pose with anime thunderbolt*
bic: Streaks of blood stained her snow-white fur as SerpentWire came at her with furious claws. She dipped, ducked, and rolled out of the way, using her fine, angelic wings as a type of guard, even still SerpentWire was better. UnicornDream searched in the dark for some means of escape. She could tell that the malicious-she had no sight, that is why she had come at her - no pun intended - blindly. She had to be using her other senses to make her this strong. Not sound, surely not with all the commotion of fighting around. Sent must have been it. The mushy ground, damp dirt, held the strong sent of the decomposing earth. Perfect.
Unicorndream slammed herself to the ground, heaving the soil, mud more like, into her fur and onto her flesh. She didn't stop - squirming like a snake - rolling around on the ground until she was sure that every part of her powder-white coat was layered in many coats of the earth's natural sunscreen.

Scowling her discontent, Serpentwire stopped and shook her head as if answering "no" to a question. Wherever the she-cat had gone, she had lost track of her. Her nose had failed her for the first time in moons. Pushing her body down to the Earth, she felt her way along the ground and snaked around the terrain. "Wherever you are, I'll find you!" she cried, inwardly scolding herself for looking like such a fool.
By this time, Littlekit had led more than half of LegendClan's cats out of the opening. Frantically gazing around, he saw that they had about ten cats to go. In the back corner of the tunnel, he swore that he could see something serpent-like wandering around on the base. Eyes widening, he called out to the cats around him to hurry up. There was only so much time.

SoftenedOak hushed terrified cats, ushering them from the hole, in which they surely would have died. Littlekit worked with him, and they made a fine team, helping the clan escape from the - more or less literal - snapping jaws of Evilclan. His milky eyes blinked feverishly every time he stepped back into the light, traveling with the stunned cats of his clan, until they knew that they could make it home on their own.
The mud dreanched she-cat scrambled to the split in the hole, catching sight of Blister and Symphoniapaw, who were working on trying to help Littlekit." You guys better get out of here!" She yelped at them. The looked at her, both of their expressions the same, and turned to the other cats left. "That was for you guys. Come on. Time to go home," Blister said to the ten or so remaining cats. Unicorndream jumped up and out of the cavern, chunks of mud cracking off of her.

ooc: Just so you know, I had Auburnpaw kind of escape to EvilClan to tell one of Tiger's cats about this, and they've just arrived outside. I don't want to roleplay the confrontation until Tiger's here, so I'll just make them all get out first.
bic: Without a moment's hesitation, the kit leapt out of the pit structure and scrambled for high ground. After his ordeal, he never wanted to dig or stand by a hole ever again. Shuddering, he frantically gazed around, looking for enemies. He couldn't see past the cluster of safe cats in front of him, and he couldn't rightfully breathe with ease. Something was going to happen here in a matter of seconds, and he didn't want to stick around for it.
Still in the tunnels, Fayreign lay by her dead mother's side. Weeping, she allowed her tears to curdle off of her limbs and roll onto the spaces surrounding her mother. She wished that she could open the silver she's eyes and breathe life back into her pale lavender lips. Shaking with sobs, her heart felt as though it was on fire as she choked on mucus. If her mother couldn't survive, then neither could she. Cheeks scraping against the hard dirt and debris, she lay herself down to sleep forevermore.

(alright, i obviously missed a lot... but from scanning over these posts i see that legendclan was trapped underground by evilclan, and has just escaped. can anyone give me the details on how evilclan is working this so i can maybe get switchback involved? thanks. oh yeah, and tell me if i'm messing something up here)
The air felt thin in his lungs as Crescentblade gasped for breath amidst the crowd of half-starved refugees. After days of the thick, stagnant cavern air, the fresh, crisp forest atmosphere made him feel light headed. Oh StarClan, he couldn't remember the last time he had eaten... his legs shook with the fatigue. He doubted that now he could even conjure a ray of silvery light, let alone a force field. The combination of starvation and using his light-based powers underground to fend of EvilClan left him able to stand and not able to do much else. But... at least he was alive.
Far, far away: Blink blinked his cloudy, blue eyes, allowing the black of his pupils to widen and expand until each eye was completely black. He tilted his head toward the tabby brown she-cat. "Someone will have to tell them, you know..." He whispered in his hollow, hoarse and wispy voice.
Turning from the newly-aquired gash on her hind leg, Tigereye let loose a sigh. "I know. But it's such an unpleasant business. Their Clan is already in such a harsh situation... right now they would welcome the message that their leader is dead just about as much as a pack of feral dogs. Perhaps even less, now that I think about it." Tigereye pondered it for a moment. "But yes, you are absolutely right... the only question is, how? Obviously we could wait for one of them to just 'wander' upon the patch of forest my den happens to be at at the time... but they need this information soon, and not many cats venture near here."
Blink opened his maw to speak once more, although it seemed as if the act of speaking pained him. "Why not send the bird...?
Tigereye peered at him quizically. "The bird speaks even less than you do, silly. I- no... wait, you might actually have an idea there... I could simply tell him to get a cat to follow him back here! The ingenuity of it."
An hour later: Skree the one-eyed eagle soared high above the forest, feeling the dip and turn of every gust of wind beneath his outstretched wings. He was on a mission: Bring LegendClan cat to Tigereye. And she had proceeded to give him an exact area of where to look for them.
(anyone want to volunteer their kit or apprentice to get snatched by skree? don't worry, they will be returned unharmed ;] oh, and also, i'm almost done with the story of why exactly truthstar is dead, i'm just trying to get it to the point where it's short enough that some of you might read it. mmk?)

Like many others who were crawling of that horrible StarClan forsaken whole, StormSight was almost skinny as a twig, yet her sides were swollen with her unborn kits that she had no doubt in her mind were dead by now. Both storm like eyes looked on in a lazy matter as she tired to recap everything that happen, but could not bring herself to do so. Walking away from the pit, she felt her head spin as her wings began to twitch about in a dazed matter. She just had to stay standing, just had too for her clan and for some hope that her kits might still be alive. Gasping loudly, she pressed forward escaping from the living nightmare that would hunt LegendClan for many seasons to come.
Far, Far away: Young Tigerpaw was listening to Blink and Tigereye with wonder in his undead eyes as his young mind tired to process everything the two were talking about. He knew LegendClan had been trapped within a pit by EvilClan, but had no idea why or how it happen. Often most he heard from the wise she-cat was whenever he drop in towards the end of one of her rants or when he faked being asleep near by. Sighing heavy, both brown ears twitched slightly before he looked side ways at Blink wondering why they would send the...but then Tigereye let out her plan which seem to be a complete nightmare waiting to happen. Shurgging his shoulder, both amber eyes dropped to the ground thinking deeply about this slight problem.
ooc//IM, I hope you remember Tigerpaw. The young silverclan apprentice she turned into a zombie?

(yep, i remember him, just didn't know if he was still there or what okay they didn't send skree then, let me change it a bit.) Blink opened his maw to speak once more, although it seemed as if the act of speaking pained him. "Why not send him..." Tigereye's ears perked up. "Why, yes of course! Marvelous idea." Getting to her paws, she padded lightly over to the young zombie-cat, giving him a quick sniff. "Tigerpaw! We've got an errand for you. You need to go tell LegendClan their leader is dead. Oh, and you simply must get Blink to fix you up before you go. No offense, but you're smelling quite a bit more... dead today."
