ooc: oh gosh...okay a grand attempt from dragon to break her writers block! sorry if this turns out badly.
bic: Sakura swayed on the spot. Her head felt as if it was floating in space, loosing all sense of direction. Fortunately, she did not fall over. She took a deep breath, smelling everything around her. The tom in front of her, musky and deep. The other she-cat, sour and strong. The earth, the trees. It grounded her.
Then, she said something that came pouring from her before she had time to think, or stop it. It rushed off her lips, loud and desperate sounding. "I'm sorry if I hurt you. I know you have others to attend to... I guess I knew a long time ago that you didn't love me love me....I'm sorry if I held you back in any way, or stopped something good from happening to you...."

Shaking his head, his lips curved upward. Touching tails with Sakura, he looked into her eyes, as if to search into her mind for some sort of insight. "You didn't and won't stop something good from happening to me. Right now is a difficult time for me, and it will continue to be; that's just the way it goes." His gaze turned sternly to his daughter.
"I think you should go home. You can follow the scent, right?" he inquired.
Nodding, Iecerin--proving that she could--stuck her nose to the ground and her bottom to the air in exaggerated motion. She would not pester her father any further. After all, this was all probably too much for him. A cat as old as he shouldn't experience such excitement all at once. It would be too much to bare if she became responsible for him having a heart attack.

"Right..." she looked at Icerin as she found her way 'home'. As if it could be called that. The cat hadn't lived there her whole life, and now she was willing to take a huge turn around? As if. "Right...And you need me help right? I'll help you. Only if you want it though." Chills ran down her spine as Ray looked at her, she knew he was trying to find the right answer to tell her. She had to look away, fear of another emotional discharge was great.

I know!!1 Its incredible. For a second there I thought he would have to join the Nobodies and Heartless.....He'd make a pretty good nobody. Kits? Yes, Sakura is supposedly taking care of kits.... If they are the same kits. Boo wolud be able to help you there.

ooc: I've never had to deal with anyone breaking up with me for the simple reason that I've never dated anyone. I'm not too interested in the moron guys and make-up-ridden girls around my area. Well, except one. :X I have had stalkerish obsessions with/crushes on some guys in the past who didn't know I was alive, which made me want to murder them in their beds. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LOOOOVE ME?!"
Of course he's nice! He may be a "player", but he's a three-dimensional player, lawl! Every character's got a darker story buried somewhere inside.
bic: Sensing the awkwardness of the situation, Ray averted her gaze then, as if he were speaking to someone whom was much elder than he. "If you would like to. Please, Sakura, look after the cats I've entrusted to you well. They belong to Kay, and I promised her that I would protect them. It's up to you to help me." Eyes darting around, he made sure that they were completely alone, although by that point, it was already too late; somebody could've already heard the information divulged.

Sakura's fur rustles in a slight dis-gust. Kay's...... Them a smile light up her face. "Of corse I will! Kay is a great freind.. Even though I don't know muvh about her situantion... I'll be glad to help you guys out in any way!" There was no regret in her voice, because she felt none in her heart.
---
Meanwhile Boo had been circling around in an un-ease. Distressed mewls had been comming from her house for quite some time and she didn't want to be around kits, lest she become unkind with them. She sat on the out-side of her fence, nose up-turned with distane.

Slightly taken aback by her lack of reluctance to help in a situation she knew little about, Ray tilted his head to the side, eying her curiously. "Really? My biggest concern is that the kits' father is going to come on a rampage looking for them. I'll do whatever it takes to protect them and you, and Freina's helping me, but I don't know if that'll be enough. Guess we'll have to sift through this mess as we go, yeah?" Whiskers twitching in amusement, he breathed a sigh of relief. He already felt better, and, with a jolt, he realized that this was the first time in quite a while that he felt so genuinely content. It was almost as if he could live easily now.
*****
Freina scanned the outdoors with a wary eye. Her other had been scratched and stained and was beginning to water; she felt as if she was slowly going blind. Hissing, anger overwhelmed her; she wanted to lash out and hurt someone--anyone. Eyes turning to slits, she watched intently as Mint hopped from fence-post to fence-post in search of who-knew-what. "CrrrAzy," she muttered under her breath.

Sakura nodded enthuiastically once, with an acompanied 'Mmh'. She didn't want to see anyon eget hurt if she could help it. With Boo gone though, only God* knows where she is, or what she's doing..... Sakura suddenly thought of something that hadn't sprung to her attention before. What if Boo wanted to hurt someone? Those kits would be a direct rute to herself, Ray and their mother.
"I'm actually going to check on them..You can come if you want!" She called from over her shoulder. She had stood, and sprinted towards her home, about to leap over the -one of about three- fence.
---
Boo finally decided to cross the threashold. She leapt over the fence with ease, only to find herself surrounded by the sent of kits, that weren't Sakura's. She hadn't a clue whose they were, but their high pitching screaming felt like somone pounding nails down her ears. She padded over to them, gave them a once over, and pawed them. They screamed even louder.
* I only used God here because i didn't know what else to put.

Scenting the air, Mint crept closer toward the fellow tuxedo cat's aroma. She was with others--snacks! Delighted, the she-cat sprung forward as if on wings, soaring majestically over her domain, the deranged religious figure. Hate filled her, and she vowed to release it soon in an attempt to stifle the beast's mighty claws from tearing her to shreds. Once safely on the ground, she opened her eyes to the scouring world for what felt like the first time in a millennium. "Having fun?" she suspiciously questioned Boo, letting the last word carelessly fall and die off her lips. They'd never forgive her.
~~~~~
"Alright!" he called, bounding after her. He felt...somehow renewed, young again. Deep down, however, he knew that this newfound vigor wouldn't stay with him for very long; it was needed elsewhere. Younger cats required youth to function, and who was he to purloin such a precious gift for himself? Facing facts, he focused on kits and turned away from his painful memories. Everything would work out in the end.
Boo turned to her 'friend' with a dark smile twisting her face. "Oh yes," She said, with a grave tone, but dangerous none the less, "Very very much." Her green eyes surveid Mint, watching her every step, observing every detail of her posture. It was crucial not to set Mint off, she didn't want to make a wrong move. Not today.
Racing through others' yards, Sakura caught whiffs of everyone, but came to a sudden halt when she smelled her younger sister in their yard. She hadn't been home...for whom knows how long, and now... She and Mint were having a tea party in their yard? Doubtful.
With a look of disgust, Mint gingerly picked her way over to the closest kit. Flicking her with her tail, Mint watched as the tiny she-cat wriggled and shrieked in horror. "I want one," she whispered, teeth gritting and grinding. She glanced over her shoulder at Boo as if it was her responsibility to give her the kit. Pondering over everything she could possibly do with a kit, she had to admit that it would be entertaining, to say the least, to raise a kit.
Ray caught scent of the situation, too. Eyes widening in fright, he anxiously exchanged a furtive look with Sakura. Something was going on. Scurrying for the fence pole, he swung and hit his mark, proceeding to clamber down to the ground. Coming across Mint, he suddenly froze, but she didn't seem to notice. By the looks of it, she didn't even know he was there; it was as if she was in her own fractured state of mind from which no one could sway her.
Sakura followed Ray over the pole, scrambling after him. When she saw Mint bent over a kit, she almost called out, but the words caught in her throat when she saw Boo standing malicingly over Mint. A growl rose in her chest. Boo wasn't going to hurt these kits on her watch, and so the growl grew louder, more feril. She wanted to launch herself at her sister, who wasn't doing anything to protect a life.
Boo was vile, and nodded proudly at Mint who was gazing at her with a pleading look in her eyes. Her heart fluttered in her chest like a bird in a cage. And as excited as she was, the last part of her said that this was wrong, and that it was a KIT for crying outloud, and that she should stop Mint. She ignored that part.
"You have three seconds to leave." Hackles raised, Ray's ears flattened to his skull. There was a dangerous glint to his eyes and his pupils had grown to the size of two fragmented pebbles. He felt as if he was about to burst; he was certain that if this she-cat provoked him any further he'd kill her then and there. Boo merely sat and watched, as expected. Still, he had dared to hope that she would've put a stop to it. Smirking, Mint turned to face him, and he knew that she had plenty to say.
To his surprise, she complied with his wishes and flounced off in the blink of an eye. "Hey, wai--" he cried, even thought it was too late. Disappointed, he felt like taking his vengeance out on someone but knew that it was no use. Remembering that Boo was there, he turned to glare at her. He felt that words would only pass over her head, so he merely glared, burrowing deep into her frame of mind, trying to see how she thought. There was something...unstable about her.
Sakura ran across the yard, as if to make after Mint. Instead she stood there, growling like no other, unable to say anything. Her limbs shook with what seemed to be rage. "Run Mint, or else you'll never forget it. YOU'LL NEVER FORGET!!" She yelled after her, from the spot where her claws dug deep into the harsh earth.
Boo looked at Ray like he was pathetic. Of corse, to her, he was. Simply nothing. "What do you want?" She asked him, dangerously low, only because she didn't bother to watch her mouth. Normally she would act as if there was nothing wrong, that she felt nothing bad towards him. But, like all else, she felt as if he was the root of her problems.
