ooc: start rp anyone? I will! Here she comes! *throws Esmee into goldclan* ESMEE!!
G: She was a finely toned she-cat. Her smooth mucles rippled under the finely groomed golden pelt. She laughed at herself sometimes for thinking she was pretty, because if she really was that pretty she would have a mate. She often found herself wishing love would have blessed her with a mate. Maybe even a abusive mate, if he really cared about her.
But instead of dweling on what she didn't have, she spent lots of time in the nursery, looking out for the kits while the queens slept, or rested. Or when she was un-needed in the nursery, she took over the aprentices jobs of looking over the elders.

Small frame easily fitting through the tree's narrow hollow, Kameshard kept a steady watch over the forest floor. Thanking StarClan that the tree was abandoned, she patiently waited, plotting her strategy. Leaves rustling, a minute dormouse, nose low to the ground, stopping here and there to nibble, glided along her path. Swiftly pushing her frame forwards and prepping her haunches, she took off and landed directly on the creature, nipping its neck and glowing in satisfaction at her fast kill.
When she finally entered camp and deposited her fresh-kill, Kameshard was amazed at how exhausted she was. Perhaps it had been the lack of sleep; every time she closed her eyes she would hear the squeals of a queen giving birth echoing in her mind. She needed something to distract her. With a flourish of her tail, she headed for the warriors den.
On her way over, she caught sight of Esmee in the nursery. Wondering why she spent so much time in what she had deemed the "dismal den", Kameshard gently padded in, careful not to disturb anyone.

Esmee was smiling down on all the small kits. They were resting peacefully, nesteled against their mothers. Then she caught sight of KameShard.
"Hello KameShard." Esmee whispered, starting to stand. She lightly crouched on the ground, trying not to disturb anyone. "What brings you here?"

Nodding at the she-cat, she let her gaze wonder towards the sleeping kits. It disgusted her; not the kits themselves, that is, but the thought that they were all expected to throw their lives away and birth until they became shriveled up elders, too mindless and brain-washed to question anything. "Hello," she echoed. "Just passing through. You must really love the nursery to be in here so often."

"Yeah, I really do. Sometimes it's peaceful, and sometimes it's exciting It all depends on how the kits want it to be. It's kinda amazing when you think about it." She explained the question most cats asked her. That way when KameShard asked, she would already have anwered.

Honesty was difficult to find, and yet, Esmee was certain to convey it at all costs. "I guess." Because it's really difficult for a kit to change its mood, she sardonically thought. Well, whatever. She can enjoy it if she wants to.

"But it's time for me to get out of here. I really haven't left all day. Would you care to lead the way out?" Esmee started stepping over the small kits and some large queens without waiting for the other cats responce. In all truth she wanted to see sunlight. She hadn't had enough of it to be healthy recently. Because she thought the sun kept cats (and some humans belive this too) healthy and happy, and the more sun one got, the more hapy one would be.

Nodding once more, she beckoned for her to follow her out to the clearing. "Would you like some fresh-kill? Just got a dormouse this morning." Flinching under the heat, she felt her eyes burn from the direct contact with the rays. It should feel good, she thought. It really doesn't, though.

She followed KameShard into the sun. It was exceptionally warm today. Even after being in the shade of the kits den all day, she found the sun bright.

"Ow!" she wailed, pads stinging from the heat. "This weather's so abnormal. So do you want the dormouse?" Growing a little impatient, she cursed the sun. It always seemed to screw up her mind.

"OH! Right! Yeah! Do you wanna share? I don't feel like eating all of it. I only want a bite....you should eat the rest!' She really didn't want to eat much, she wasn't hungry by much. All the queens sugested that she take their leftovers because their kits couldn't eat it.

"If you say so." Shrugging, she meticulously divided the dormouse in half. "Whatever you don't finish I will." She couldn't imagine having to worry about food portions for other family members.
