[color/maroon] As the sent of the dormouse drifted up into her nostrils, she suddenly thought of something. How silly it was to eat something that reeked of blood. Wouldn't that sent attract other preditors? She had once heard of a miraculous bird called Skyree. Wouldn't the sent of blood bring on the wraith of some other animal along the same lines? Esmee's thoughts followed down that road and thought of how horribly devistating it would be to have anything of that sort happen to the clan.[/color]
"Actually, Kameshard, you can have my half too." She ment what she said, and said what she ment.

Eyes widening, she had never met another cat who would turn down the offer of fresh MEAT. Was she ill? "Are you sure?" Blinking thrice, she shook her head and took three large bites of her own half. Maybe she was just hearing things, like voices.

"Yes, KameShard, I am sure." She nodded firmly and shoved her pice of meat towards her clanmate. Did this mean she was vergitarian? Yes. She was sure that one day she would convince others to join her cause of things. One day. Maybe she would be re-birthed to pass along the word. That eating meat would one day bring the destruction of the clans.

Maybe she can lick rocks to get the salt for iron. Otherwise, her limbs are going to collapse if she only eats leaves or StarClan-knows-what-else. "What are you going to eat then?" she inquired. Health was important.

She was unsure how to answer at first. But then she had it. She was sure Waterspirit would have something for her to maintian her health. "I'm not sure, but I know that Waterspirit will have some sort of food for me. There has to be something for me to eat there in her den. Something to keep me....." She trailed off into thought.

"You need certain minerals, don't you? Like...um...ayerrn?" Where had she heard that word before? Shrugging, she let her eyes rest on this bizarre she-cat's face. Was she serious?

ooc: ayern? iorn? lol your so creative seren.
G: Esmee nodded. She had once heard of a strong mineral and the twolegs used it for thier big shelters. And then she had heard that it ran through their very blood vesels. It had come as a big surprise to her that such a strong sort of alloy could be in their bodies.

Emphasizing the importance of health equaled her job? With a sigh, Kameshard looked out into the distance at nothing in particular. It would help her clear her head. Of course it would. "So are we going now, then?"

ooc: I don't remember; hell, I might never have said in the first place.
Simply pushing herself to her paws, she trailed towards the camp entrance and ventured out. The land was bright and alive. Birds sang, and squirrels stopped to scold and chatter. Winds howled and raged not far off, but it was mere background noise. Trees asleep soon regained their conscientiousness and lengthened their branches for the woodland creatures that stirred within their trunks, scurrying farther and farther up, ascending.

Esmee walked out after her friend, and noticed how lovely the britghtness of the forest was. As the sun-light fell through the trees, it dappeled across her golden coat, sending shivers of warmth all over her body. Animals all over were chittering, and in responce, quite like a kitty-pet, her teeth chattered along with them.

"So...where should we start border patrol?" Her words seemed to spoil the moment, at least to her own ears. Ears flattening, she gazed into the skies.

WaterSpirit cased her gaze over her shoulder to look at Kameshard soon as the she-cat's pawsteps echoed within the medicine cat's ears. Thinking for a moment, she gave a small nod. "If you would so kindly stand guard at the entrance as so no young apprentices run in that would be a great deal of help." As she turned her head back to the other two cats, she quickly snapped her gaze back to the gray tabby. "I do have a warrior coming with water that you will need to alow in." Laying just before the medicine can and the black tom was the queen who swore she was going out of her living mind. There were two WaterSpirits talking to three Kameshard who all where standing in front the four entrances that just somehow appeared while she had six very worried WishWhiskers starring down at her. What in the name of starclan was happening to her? Lifting her up slightly, she felt pain wave through her body making a gasp escape from her parted jaws.

Nodding, Kameshard stood guard. Looking as fierce as possible, she was to make certain that no one would pass. She was a rather striking she-cat even with her rather common features and markings; she had a solid silver base with darkened stripes running down her pelt and eyes the color of snow. A little snub for an orange nose made for a nice contrast. Narrowing her eyes into slits, she forced her gaze to fall to the ground.
