[The sun was bright that afternoon, a perfect day to bask in the sunlight while it lasted. Spread across a flat rock was a cream color queen who was purring softly under her breath as she felt the rays slowly move across her body. She was shocked how a nursery could be so damp and cold and often wonder if it was the best of her kits. Yes the kits, it would be anytime now that they will make their grand appearance into the world. The fact scared the queen furless. Giving a heavy sigh, one yellow eye opened to gaze around the camp in a lazy fashion. At last, no one was around, though this did not surprise her one bit. The Bear Leaf killed more than half of the clan with green cough and Starclan knows what well. Twitching her nose, her tail brushed against her very swollen sides as if she were brushing off dirt of the kits that were curled within. It was strange how just a few moons ago she hated the idea of having kits and wanted them to just disappear. “Amazing what you guys will do to a cat,” she muttered closing her eyes once more as a content smile grew across her muzzle.

"You theiving good for nothing tomcat!" echoed around the empty place, signaling the end to Owlpelt's time of peace. Two cats, both smelling of hunting, streaked into the camp. The one out in front, a black tom, had a rbbit clenched in his jaws, the blood of the creature around his muzzle. The second, a brown pelted she-cat, was hissing and growling up a storm, clawing at the end of the tom's tail.
"You never called it!" the tom shouted back, looking over his shoulder with a satisfyed smirk. The poor cat tripped, thudding to the ground and losing hold on the orey he had been carrying. Claws landed close to his nose, digging into the pelt of the rabbit. He gave the she-cat a nervous smile. Distraction, that's what he needed. "Owlpelt!" he yelped, leaping up and darting across camp to the other she-cat. "Save me!"

Owlpelt let out a low growl as her ears were filled with yelling, screaming, voices, and yelps. ‘I should have known it was to good to be true.’ Thinking it was a bunch of apprentices, her sat herself upright only to see a black tom coming at her causing both eyes to widen in surprise and shock. Quicky she scanned to see another she-cat then the rabbit. Smirking, she looked at WishWhisker with a you owe me big time expression. “AH! You got the rabbit I asked for,” she said with delight in her voice,” I was starting to wonder if you ever going to come back with it or not. I must say, those apprentices were looking rather good.” At once the bushes shook as a few young apprentices were zooming across the camp away from the she-cat they were about to sneak up on.

Giving Griffenmirage a satisfied grin, he nodded. "Yep! Though, she thinks that I stole it from under her nose, when I didn't. See? I didn't steal the rabbit. I was getting it for Owlpelt." The tom, thinking it safe, padded over to the kill, placing a paw on it and dragging it closer to him.
Snorting, Griffenmirage took her paw off the rabbit, letting Wishwhisker bring it over to the expecting cat. "I was going to pounce on it when you scared it to death jumping out right in front of the thing."

OwlPelt gave a large smile before it faded from her face. Giving a worried look, she got to her paws before climbing down from the rocks. "...I'm going to rest," she said with a blank expression as she walked towards the nursery. Once inside, she spread herself out across the floor as she was to weak to move to her nest. 'What is wrong with me?' "WishWhiskers?" she called

The two had started arguing again, much like two siblings would do, almost as soon as Owlpelt had left. Upon hearing his name, however, Wishwhisker left Griffenmirage to her own rants, slinking his way over to the she-cat. "Whatever it is, I didn't do it, I swear." He paused, one paw raised, seeing that something had to be wrong if Owlpelt was lying on the floor and not the nest. "You okay?"

Listening to the two argue at one another just caused a headache to grow within the queen's head. Giving a heavy sigh, she shook her head as she moved forward, though stopped once she heard pawsteps. Owlpelt shook her head towards his remark. "I'm not quite sure," she replied as she turned her yellow gaze towards the black tom. "I feel fine, but very weak. It's rather strange." Trying to get up, her legs gave way as if her weight had grow tne times fold. "Could you get Waterspirit?"

There was clear worry in his eyes for his friend. Wishwhisker debated between going and getting the medicine cat or staying there. He chose to go, turning and bounding out of the nursery. "Waterspirit!" he meowed, trying the medicine cat's den first.

There was a loud crash as the medicine cat dropped some nuts onto the floor along with dried herbs. Cursing under her breath, WaterSpirit looked towards the entrance of her den to see WishWhisker. "Yes?" she asked with her cracked and dried voice.

"Owlpelt wants you. She's in the nursery and I don't think she's doing too well." His ears couldn't decide if they wanted to be up or down, constantly flicking. Not even the tip of his tail would wuit moving, just going to show how worried the tom was.

WaterSpirit watched how the tom's ears were having a spaz acttack before she went over to a small bundle she had made at sun high. "Go to the den and help Owlpelt the best you can. If she isn't in her nest, get her in one, but whatever you do, do not touch her sides." spoke the elder she-cat before looking over at WishWhisker. "Also send someone to get moss soaked with fresh water." With that, the medicine cat picked up the bunlde before walking towards the entrance of her den with smooth even strokes. Even if she was the oldest cat alive in the forest, she sure did not move or look like one. Passing the tom, she flicked his shoulder in a friendly motion before heading towards the nursery. There Owlpelt was looking at the entrance of the den or for better, trying to figure out why there were three entryways. Shaking her head, she slowly nudged her way over to her nest, though found it quite hard to do so.

He nodded. Turning tail, he bounded over to Griffenmirage. "Can you go get some fresh water soaked in moss? Thanks"! Not evne waiting for an answer, he streaked off to the nursery, passing Waterspirit along the way. Panting, Wishwhisker padded over to Owlpelt, nudging her to help the she-cat get into a nest, careful of her sides like the old cat had told him.
Blinking, the she-cat shrugged, bounding out of camp for the second time that day to get some water.

Waterspirit shook her head as she felt the tom pass her before she spotting him zipping into the den. "WaterSpriti!" Groaning, the medicine cat stopped and looked over her shoulder to see her leader bouncing towards her. 'Can't I get anything done today?' She thought crossly. Owlpelt froze for a moment wondering why on earth a black dot was pushing her towards her nest. Though a quick inhale told her it was WishWhisker. With his help, the queen was in her nest breathing heavily. "D-d-did you get W-Wa-Waterspirit?" she asked with a shaking voice a she tipped her head upwards to face her friend the best she could.

"Yeah. She should be on her way, here any second now." The tom looked over his shoulder for the old cat, claws kneading the ground. "Don't worry. You'll be just fine, Owlpelt."

Owlpelt gave a warm smile as she heard Wishwhisker's words. "Thank you," she mewed softly. Mean while, WaterSpirit was trying to get away from her leader without appearing to be rude, though at this rate she would have too. Oddstar stopped talking for a moment only to notice the herb scents coming from the boudle. Both eyes widen as she looked at the cross look spread across the medicine cat's face. "oh..." "Yes, not if you wouldn't mind. I'm going off to help OwlPelt" retorted WaterSpirit before turning on her heels and stalking towards the nuersery. Her talk flicking about in a very angered matter.
