Sakura listened to their conversation. But his voice was heavy... so was he lying? Boo had obviously learned the delicate wit of sarcasm. She couldn't hear Larus's remark, but would have dissagreed with it. She would have rather not known what she knew now, then have to bear it. Gray clouded every part of her mind, pressing down, with all of its force. Breathing heavy, she let the tears, that she knew would have come anyway, leak slowly form her eyes. But when she saw him next - she would have too, it wouldn't be the same otherwise - she would ask him again.
Boo was smoother than silk. Frosted, like the snow that shinned at their paws. The little puff ball of energy was faded now, though she was sure that the excited kit would surface sometime. But over something else, not what the subject of adreniline would have been. "I'm sure you were. I mean, it's not like Sakura is exactly stable or anything. We all know that."

Much to Marek's silent protests, Ray couldn't help but let his anger get the best of him. "Do we? Really? Is that a fact?" he testily replied. He was growing weary of her irksome tone. He couldn't fathom why she was acting so hostilely lately. Especially after all that Sakura had ever done for her.

She snapped right back at him, not provoked, but in a quick defense. "Well if you didn't then you're mouse-brained! I mean, it's obvious as the difference between night and day!" Her fur puffed out, adreniline rushed her legs and heart, preparing for a fight if needed. She assumed that the other toms weren't going to intervein, and if they did, she was sure that a fight would break the tension in the air.
But then Sakura reapeared, teeth bared, claws un-seathed. "Mouse-brained is he??" Her forepaw lashed out at her younger adopted sister. A sickening coppery smell leaked out into the air. Blood beaded on Boo's cheek. She didn't know what to do, stunned she stood as Sakura held her ground, "And I'm unstable?" The other paw lashed out, and claws contacted on Boo's other cheek. Two slivers of lines showed what Sakura had done. "Anyone else want to say something? Better get it out now." Her green eyes pirced each one of them in turn, including Ray.

This was more like it. Some good tension was what everyone needed! Inhaling deeply, Marek was sure to get his fill of it. It was his absinthe--no, no. It was more than that--it was his core, his reason for existing--the excitement! The rush. Anything to feel it and take it all in completely. Sighing, he was in sheer ecstasy; all was bliss.
Shoulders rising, Ray's thoughts which had been so tightly wound like a ball of yarn quickly unraveled, reaping havoc in his mind. Before he could react to the situation, he gave himself the opportunity to decide. What was the point in staying here and causing trouble and getting into a fight? "Whatever," he muttered under his breath. Turning on his heel, he left the scene.
Lip quivering and eyes watery, Larus looked pitiful as he watched the conflict grow in severity. "Please, everyone, let's be calm for a while. Obviously there're pressing issues that should be dealt with as delicately as possible. Fighting doesn't solve anything. I think that we should rationally speak, one at a time, about what is bothering us individually." I hope this works.

"Well obviously HE didn't want to talk about it, why should I have to?" IT was all comming out now. Every time one of her bones were broken, every time she'd shied away form someone, every time the anger, flared so sharply and she had denied it exit from her scorching stomach. Rationality was tell her that she had lost it, completely off of her rocker for sure this time. Tears oozed from the corners of her eyes.
Boo stood looking astonished, reading her sister like a book. 'Dear goodness it's all comming down now.....' She thought. But instead of expressing anything that raced across her narrow, channeled mind, she called out to Ray, "Hey! Where are you going? You're every much at fault here as we are! Get back here!"

Ray had left? Larus hadn't even noticed. Shaking his head, he joined Boo in calling after him. "Ray! Please, come back here! There're some very tender emotions and hormones running rampant here! It's in your best interest to return." Much to his astonishment, Ray did as he was asked and perched about three paw-steps in front of him.
"Fine. I'll play your game, Larus. Honestly, though, I don't see the point."
Rolling his eyes, Larus proceeded with his therapy session. "Alright, let's start with you, Boo. Why did you say that Sakura's unstable? What leads you to believe this?"

"She's always been that way. Nothing much about her, but you can tell she tries to look so strong or whatever it is she wants to badly." Boo sneered through her words, making the worst of every single sylable. Sakura's hair rose on the nape of her neak, but not one of her tendons moved a single streach. Why was Boo spilling everything about her? Blackmail? What had she failed at as an older sister?

Biting his lip, Larus took pride in the fact that they had made it this far--major headway. "And could you give me some specific examples of this, in your own words of course?" Delve deeper and deeper, and eventually you find something lurking inside. It was logic in Larus's eyes; there is no truly flawless icicle. Everyone has at least one deeply-rooted psychological problem.

Sakura held her tongue as he little sister stared at her with dark eyes. No longer wide with excitment or fury, they were dark slits, showing almost nothing but pupils. "Like the way when she lived with me, and they would hurt her. She'd lie to everyone, yet the bruises were all seeable. No one knows why she did, or what she wants. She's un-realiable. Unstable I'd say."
Sakura looked at the ground at Boo stared her down. Her fur burned, as if alive with the urge to jump off her skin. She wondered what Ray's deeply burried psycological 'problem' could have been. The thought spanned out over Larus and Marek as well. What were their dark deep secrets that stayed stuffed in a bin?

Nodding, Larus clapped both pale paws together. Purring with satisfaction at the overall progress thus far, he tilted his body toward Sakura. "And on that note, how do you feel about what Boo has said about you, Sakura? Do you feel that you are 'unstable'?" Eyes shifting back and forth across her face, he yearned to hear what she would say. He had a feeling that he now knew why Boo was so upset; she was easily overlooked among groups of cats and--since she did not have any bruises, or at least none that were made visible to him as of yet--felt that Sakura was unworthy of such attention.

"Unstable? I guess that's what you could call me." She tried to shrug it off, but down somewhere in the pit of her stomach, claws ripped at her. Truth raged in Boo's words. She was extremely unstable. Some would say that it was her mind that made her this way. Others would just say that's how it is and move on. But to Sakura it was something more than just her own problem. It seemed to be rooted in other cat's problems. If everyone would say calm, then she would be too. But when someone went wrong, or did wrong, then the foundation of the mind shook, down to the very core. "I mean, doesn't everybody feel unstable at some point?

Slowly nodding, Larus bit his lip once again, this time not out of progress. "Is that all that you feel about it? Why do you feel that you are unstable?" He didn't believe for a minute that she could just allow herself to gloss over this. Everyone had to talk, and everyone would, eventually. All would come to play, and all would lose and gain; it was that simple.

She felt ready to unload. It was almost just too much, to say, let alone go over how to say it. A breath passed and a loop-hole appeared to her. She shrugged. Under her breath she almost grumbled something that sounded like, 'Love just screwed me over.' But instead she gave a real answer that sounded completely fake. "My whole life has been pretty unstable I guess. I mean, I've just been ignoring everything that seemed like threat because I didn't want any of it to disrupt the small part of me that seemed okay in the worst of the pain." She waved a paw through the air. But now I can't ignore the thing that hurts the most.....
Boo wanted to shred her to picies. It was all to perfect. Her thin, un-trained claws dug into the ground with as much force as they could without anyone noticing. .

It was a bit like pulling out teeth, Larus imagined. She still seemed reluctant to share specific experiences with him or the rest of the group. Dare he delve deeper? Sighing, he braced himself for a torrent of emotions--whether they would come from Boo or Sakura, he couldn't honestly say. "I know that this is already a kind of trying experience, but would you mind telling me the source of this pain? Make me live it as if I were you. If I'm going to help you, I need to know what exactly happened." He kept his manner even and simple, not matter-of-fact or jeering in any way.
Rolling his eyes, Marek felt his mind begin to wander. Craning his neck to get a good look at Ray, he took note of the tom's features. Weak, mostly-slender body with the exception of his slightly protruding stomach; light copper-colored eyes with heavily-dilated pupils; dull gray fur; and a trademark raccoon-patterned tail. He wasn't as handsome as the usual sort he went after, but he'd do for now.

Sakura took a huge notice of Marek looking over Ray. Why, he knew he was taken! That was a strange thought... why would Marek think that Ray wasn't taken? Perhaps intrested in him? She doubted it, but something stuck in the back of her head, being that was a plausable answer to the stranger than normal scent he had.
Boo glowered in scilence. Death glares - that would have made normal cats fall to the ground - were shot towards everyone, including Sakura. But she seemed immune, caught up in starring at Ray and Marek.
