Tilting his head to one side, Larus was as confused as he'd ever been. Fun bunch, right here. At least I'll never be bored. Shrugging his shoulders, he decided to try again, as Sakura had seemed so absorbed in googling over Marek and Ray. "Um...Sakura? Can you tell me about what specific sort of pain? Or is this too much for now?" He had a hunch that if he seemed to be paying too much attention to Sakura over the rest of them, he would get a rise out of Boo. Indeed, she did seem envious--not of Sakura herself, moreso of how much attention she gathered.
Too dejected to even take notice of Marek's glancing, Ray slouched down; who needed a firm spine? Had he noticed, he would have surely puffed out his chest, regained some of his ego, felt a bit better, and jokingly return his "flirtations". In Ray's sane state of mind, no one could pass up the opportunity to gaze upon his magnificence.

Sakura snapped back, and recoiled from Boo's daggers of glares. "Um...Pain? Physical, mental or emotional? Do you want spiritual? I can give you a whole butt load!" She hissed at him. In her thoughts, terrorising voice hissed, 'Of corse it's too personal. No one but Sakura would ever be able to understand what pain she's been through.' The thought ripped apart her mind, tearing at her throught to tell them.

Blinking, he inwardly cheered at this outburst. It was a sign that they were--once again--progressing rather well. "Whatever you think has affected you most. All would be ideal, of course." Eying her expression, he knew at last what it was to do this sort of thing for a living. Surely after a while of poking and prodding the patient began to hate you! But, in the long-run, it was beneficial to the mental health. Well, ideally.

Boo couldn't sit there anymore without saying something. "What hurts the most? Have you ever shared the ligth with someone you hate? Someone you swore with your life that they didn't deserve it? Or how about always knowing no matter what you did, you'd always be just second best, because everyone loves someone else?" Love was a relitive term here. She did refer to the attention that Sakura recived, but also to her ' love inntest'. Takuya, now Ray. How many more would bow at her feet, and Boo would go without it?
Sakura held her tounge, letting Boo lash out, with words that meant nothing to her. It was simply that she didn't care what Boo thought of her, as long as they would eventually leave eacother alone. One day... maybe sooner than later.

Turning a patient eye on Boo, he nodded in a bizarrely scholarly manner, as if he knew something about her, something deeper below the surface. "You hate Sakura, then? Or is it that you hate the attention she gathers? Is it safe to say that you feel that she submits and tries to prove her strength by not showing real emotion and is generally a recluse who--for some inexplicable reason--others seem to gravitate toward? Oh, listen to me; from this point on, I'll stop assaulting everyone with endless questions...or at least ask fewer at a time." Glancing over at Ray and Marek, he felt his neck fur bristling. There was Marek, examining Ray like the butcher does the freshest cut of meat. At least, that's the dreaded vision that dared to taunt him.
In reality, Ray was oblivious to Marek's staring, as he was too preoccupied with his own thoughts. Am I selfish? No, I can't be. I include everyone... well, not so much the toms, but definitely the shes! And so his one-track mind wandered back to fantasies of a certain lovely she-cat that--up until now--he had forgotten about--Heather.

Sakura would have killed - if no one else, herself - if she could tell what Ray was thinking about Heather. Green envy would have had her flashing though every shade. But, she couldn't. And so she took, wondering what he could be preocupyign himself with, and waited for Boo to answer.
"Both." Boo sneered. "Now, if we're done here, I'll be going." And the sleek tuxedo-covered-cat turned around, and stalked away. Why did they care what she thought? All that mattered was that she would be back for a fight, or maybe even more than one, once she was ready.

Alarm swelling in his stomach, Larus felt as if he were about to hyperventilate. Chest constricting, he took shallow breaths. "What? No! You can't go off now! We were making such progress--it's of no use to keep your feelings bound!" Shaking his head, he worriedly turned to Sakura.
"Should we go after her? Or should we continue with you?" Slitting his eyes, he watched Marek watch Ray, hoping to find any slips of information. Exasperated, he bunched his tense shoulders and heaved a sigh. Breathing in and out, he wondered how any of these cats could stand carrying around the stress of their emotions.

Boo heard the call. She had a small tug in her gut, and almost wanted to turn around, but kept walking instead. She would find someone, anyone, and they would teach her how to have revenge. The side-walk was rough under her pads, but not un-confortable, even if it was hard.
"Oh no. Don't go after her. I'm sure she'll be out and about, even around sometimes. But that... I don't want you to get hurt. I've never seen her like this." She shook her head, but almost smiled at the same time, trying to keep everything together. She could see his slight confusion. It was easy to get confused around here, with all that went on. What WAS he doing to Ray? Why on earth would he sit there and stare? Anger flared down in the pit of her stomach, but her bigger demons put out that fire fast.

Crawling along the sidewalk, Mint crouched low to the ground, stomach dragging. Breath heavy, she heaved a sigh of exasperation. It had been many nights and days since last she had attempted to murder Ray. Well, murder was not the right word. She had merely been attempting to demonstrate the force and allure of her love. He had to love her--he would! Why did he resist so? Fate was too cruel.
~~~~~
Whiskers twitching, Larus instantly felt bad. Why did he feel the urge to throw his head back and yowl? It came to him instantly. He only wished that in their present tense state they could see the situation in its hilarity. "Their emotions are just coming out full-surface.
"Now, as I asked before, what kinds of trauma were inflicted upon you or are being inflicted upon you? Don't be afraid to tell me everything."
ooc: 0.0 0.o NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAKURA WILL KIILLLL YOUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bic: Boo stalked along, and soon enough who should she run into, but Mint? Of corse, the killer, physco, murderess that Sakura had tried to fight off of Ray. Why on earth... No time to think about it, why not just ask the poor thing about it? "Mint! Mint hey!" Boo pranced - very briskly - over to the other black and white cat.
It was odd, trying to tell him what had happened to her. But she realized that, she had almost no trauma to speak of, but other cats. "When I was younger... before Boo came along... my people abused me. But other than that.. I mean, not much. Love hit once, before Ray, and of corse taking care of Boo." She mulled over her life, fast paced, easy, almost care-free. "But I kinda look after everyone else. Or I try to anyways."
Fur standing on end, Mint could have murdered the younger she-cat. A spitting fury, she unsheathed her claws. Five seconds... Go! "Who are you? No, nevermind. I don't wish to know. These eyes have seen things that you cannot even imagine. These claws have...sharpened themselves on things that--well, let's be honest--will never see the light of day again. Do not make me use these divine tools." Narrowing her eyes at a cat that could pass as her sibling, she felt no sisterly love. She wasn't interested in a sister or brother or mother or father. She craved flesh, a victim, and the victim that had entered her line of vision was Ray.
"This abuse...does it continue to this date? Either way, I can't imagine at all how excruciating, how tormenting, how haunting that must've been.
"And what of taking care of Boo? Do you ever feel that the responsibility is too much?" There was an urgency to his matter, and the questions grew more and more frequent, despite his promise. Funny how he could never seem to keep those.
"Sometimes, if I have no other choice but to go home. When Takuya doesn't want me around, or when Koji honestly does get mad at Boo, I'll go home. And then that's when that happens. Not as often any more... Not nearly as often as back when I was younger." Sakura didn't have any akward-ness talking about her past. "Oh, Boo? No. It's not like that at all. She's normally very sweet. Or at least she used to be."
Boo narrowed her eyes as well. "What's that look for?" She hissed at Mint. "It's not like I did anything to you!" Her own 'divine tools' hit the pavement. It almost made her shiver, the feeling. Hard as rock, grinding against the pavement for a second. "Well?"
